To all football fanatics out there, there is an upcoming 6 a-side football tournament called KL 6’s.

This tournament is happening in conjunction with EPL Masters Football Malaysia Cup 2012. Details of KL 6’s Football Tournament as below:


League Categories
-Open League: 16 teams (Age 21+)
-Senior League: 16 teams (Age 35+)


Tournament Format
-6 a-side football tournament
-32 teams/1 day/2 winners
-Substitutions: Roll on & roll off format
-Football field: 40 meters length x 30 meters width
-Goal post: 2 meters height x 5 meters length
-Round Robin format: From group stages (4 teams per group) to knockout stages
-Top 2 teams qualify for ‘Cup’ knockout rounds
-Bottom 2 teams qualify for ‘Plate’ knockout rounds
-Match duration: 16 minutes (2 halves of 8 minutes each)
