Well, my Vios 60k major service is about RM650 ~ it's not cheap
but whether worth it or not is very subjective. Some may think it's worth to pay extra for a peace of mind (fake products, not compatible etc etc) even it's not covered by the car's 3 warranty anymore.
Best & cheap solution = reliable and a workshop you have good rapport with ~
