Xbox360 not that popular compared to PS3... so MS should be happy u willing to put it inside a restaurant and let people play for free.
Office and Windows not the same as it is their bread and butter.

The way I see it you're not using the Xbox for profit or anything. Legally we can't lease, rent, advertise or copy the console/games without permission. Whether it's realistic or not is besides the point, but that's how it is. Anyhow, just think of it as the equivalent of letting someone who comes to your hour house to play games. There can't be anything wrong with that.

As long as its not for commercial purpose (aka making money from renting/using), I don't see why you can't do so as long as it is original.
Terms and conditions of software are almost similar. As long as its is not used for commercial purpose, they will not charge you, provided its original.
So go ahead and put it. Nifty idea you have there.

Since this is unlike installing Astro's in Mamak stalls, it's fine.

Technically you need to ask for permission/consent from MS since you are hosting a property and IP that belongs to them for use in a commercial or public area whatever for profit or whatnot. However as most are aware the strict "enforcement" regarding this here, most tend to either turn a blind eye.

Should be no problem, and it is a good idea too. But you need to make sure everything you use is original. Original games, not modded console, original controllers and etc. When doing business, everything has to be original.

Actually, you'll need a permit or nego with MS....but in reality, MS won't bother...unless your restauraunt rakes in USD 1 billion annually, then they'll start asking royalty. MS has nothing of the same calibur. In SG, MS had to rely on 3rd party electronics dealers they dont even deal directly with consumers. This post has been edited by y3ivan: Aug 30 2012, 09:47 PM
