Most Group Coupon sites doesn't accept AMEX... there was one using PayPal (with AMEX)...can't remember

Just a little "warning" to those intending to maximise their RM50 (Weekend Cash-back) from Maybankard 2 AMEX.

Last weekend of March 2012 is 31 March 2012.
If your transaction done on 31-March-2012 does not get posted on 31-March-2012, that transaction's rebate will "eat" into April's RM50 quota.

Advice : Spend on 25-March 2012.

heard amex is accepted. but we need to register the card through maxis online portal 1st...
then only can pay by phone.

I just charge rm50 on my Amex at petrol station. Got an SMS saying I charged rm200. Call up CS they say they always "deduct" 200 first then minus out the difference in a few days time

I had gotten RM 200 and RM 250 from various Shell petrol stations. I guess there isn't a standard pre-authorize amount.

i wanna ask, if like i swipe 1 transaction for 1k, when is the due date i need to pay for that swipe if i don wan to have any interest incur on that transaction? If exceed, how they count the interest? website say 8.88%pa tho.. but if i pay within like, next month after due date, how much they gonna charge me?

I learned something today, all the while I though MBB 2 AMEX Interest Rate for Outstanding Balance is 8.88%

I also bought a new iPaq last weekend at Harvey Norman for RM999 for my youngest daughter using my wife MBB 2 AMEX to earn RM50 cash back But I bought the 16GB WiFi only model. Now there are 4 iPads in my house but I personally carry a Samsung 7" Tab wherever I go.
For AMEX AMEX, 200 Membership Reward points = RM1 cash back (credited into account).

For Maybankard 2 Cards, we can only redeem for cash vouchers.

If you shop at Parkson, better still, 9300 Treats Points = RM50 voucher.
