I have a question need to make it clearly

For me, I have an existing Petronas cc which usually pump petrol on weekends because can get x8 TP right now.

Let it be analysis with MBB2 cards Amex

For example:
I have spend for petrol RM200 for a month

Petronas cc : 200 x 8 = 1600/200 = RM8

MBB2 cards Amex : 200 x 5 = 1000/200 = RM5
5% (cash back) = RM10

(RM1 = 200 TP)

So, you can earn and rebated RM15 if using MBB2 Amex compare to Petronas cc RM8, some more SHELL, ESSO and Petronas is acceptable.

Therefore, could I think MBB2 Amex more suitable than Petronas credit card to earn point and rebated?

Do u guys know Islamic cc cannot apply as an existing cc, this is not consider normal cc or what type of cc (I'm not sure because staff told me sth like this).

Therefore, due to my salary and Islamic cc limit, bank have not approve my application.

But if you are holding is not Islamic cc then there will be more easy to get approval said by bank staff.

Meanwhile, bank staff told me that two options may get approve :

1) you need to terminate yr Islamic cc and apply the MBB2 cards, but as first u need to fully settle the payment if this card has made installment.

2) Bank maybe approve yr application but there only come with very low CL for both cards as you have holding another cc by MBB.

It is pain to say that, after 6 months I just can apply again.

Yes, I think so... but I have been use almost a year, they also can check back based my payment records
