AmEx is simply the best card to use on weekend.  7.5% rebate (rebate plus TP) is massive advantage of this card. The only disadvantage is hard to find merchant that use AmEx.

Maxis can pay by phone in weekends. I just done it yesterday n the transaction posted on the same date. 21/5/2011. However, I think u need to register the amex card online with the maxis first-reported by francistcc

I expect the payment u went through Paypal? If yes, then Maxis cannot process Amex payment through Paypal.

I called Maxis CS last time, thr is an option to pay using Amex, that is Pay-By-Phone. Register your Amex in the Pay-By-Phone option, then, everytime you wan to pay, just call them and then they will proceed it with you.
p/s1: I didnt do that yet even I know can do this as claim by Maxis CS la. Coz I will go Penang Queensbay at least once per month, so, normally I just pay my bill there.

p/s2: The Maxis payment kiosk there cannot accept Amex also, hv to go to counter. And, at the counter, only certain CC terminal can recognise Amex only... lol... so, sometimes pay at counter 10, they will say "this terminal cannot accept Amex, I hv to go to counter x to proceed it". hahaha...

got to know from forum ppl say can pay by phone using amex. planned to do it on weekends.
so i register online for pay by phone, but end up i receive an sms say "successfully register for auto debit"...

so i called CS ask them cancel it and the CS said cannot use amex for pay by phone.

If i understood your question correctly. check your transactions after the end of the month. Usually it will post on the 1st or 2nd of every month.
