I found out that the requirement for apply this card and the requirement is as below:
-My annual income RM 30000 which is (RM 2500 per month).
- I had 3 months payslip.
- I don't have the BE form in this moment.
- My balance is not much since it was my salary account for the latest 3 months' savings account activity/current account statement since i just deduct for expenses and savings.

Do i have any problem when i planned to apply on it?

No problem... If u near 1U just go to the cardcentre for 1 hour approval, and get free coffeebean voucher worth RM10.
Bring your payslip, and savings account statement (if different bank), and EPF statement if possible (u can print online if got online account).

Im just graduated & that was my first job. Temporary no EPF statement yet. Is that hard for approving my application?

QUOTE(ch_teo @ Mar 22 2012, 09:38 PM)
bring at least 3 months salary pay slip. pls wait for at least 6 months then only apply if possible.
i do not see the need of a fresh grad so early to apply and start building up debts if one does not manage well his/her finance wealth.

I'm just planned to get a card & it able backup for sometimes when i needed to use on it. brows.gif

QUOTE(WaCKy-Angel @ Mar 23 2012, 12:10 AM)
Working already how can no EPF? Then would be quite hard already.
*
Is no EPF statement yet. doh.gif

QUOTE(fruitie @ Mar 23 2012, 08:35 AM)
He said no EPF statement. tongue.gif

So, just register an i-Akaun from any EPF branch and you can check out the statement all the time.
Else, can go to EPF branch or some selected RHB kiosks to print out your statement. smile.gif
*
Ok, thanks. tongue.gif

QUOTE(unknowmaster @ Mar 23 2012, 09:01 AM)
I applied mine with 2 month statement and 2 month payslip.
There shouldn't be any problem without EPF smile.gif. During that time I am at the same situation as yours. thumbup.gif

Are you success to apply on it? icon_question.gif

AmEx is simply the best card to use on weekend.  7.5% rebate (rebate plus TP) is massive advantage of this card. The only disadvantage is hard to find merchant that use AmEx.
*
Temporary i just plan to use it for petrol & paying my utilities bill only. But is that i need to wait until weekend just able to call up to those customer service centre and pay on it to get the 5% cash rebate? Thanks.

QUOTE(ronnie @ Jun 3 2012, 01:45 AM)
Typically YES... ensure the CS try a few times as they have different banks's CC terminal (some just don't work with AMEX)

But i feel not convenience to go those Maxis centre by purposely. Far from my side.

QUOTE(leoo @ Jun 11 2012, 09:28 AM)
I expect the payment u went through Paypal? If yes, then Maxis cannot process Amex payment through Paypal.

I called Maxis CS last time, thr is an option to pay using Amex, that is Pay-By-Phone. Register your Amex in the Pay-By-Phone option, then, everytime you wan to pay, just call them and then they will proceed it with you.
p/s1: I didnt do that yet even I know can do this as claim by Maxis CS la. Coz I will go Penang Queensbay at least once per month, so, normally I just pay my bill there.

p/s2: The Maxis payment kiosk there cannot accept Amex also, hv to go to counter. And, at the counter, only certain CC terminal can recognise Amex only... lol... so, sometimes pay at counter 10, they will say "this terminal cannot accept Amex, I hv to go to counter x to proceed it". hahaha...
*
Im already register my Amex in the Pay-By-Phone option, but they inform me that i just set for the direct debit from the maxis online account there. Faint.. rclxub.gif

yeap, same thing happen to me previously.

got to know from forum ppl say can pay by phone using amex. planned to do it on weekends.
so i register online for pay by phone, but end up i receive an sms say "successfully register for auto debit"...

so i called CS ask them cancel it and the CS said cannot use amex for pay by phone.

well..that's what he said...
*
No, you still can pay by AMEX but it just available on weekdays only since they will arrange the AMEX collection department to call you on working days. So no point for your cash rebates on it. Unless you go to the maxis centre to perform the payment on weekend. doh.gif
