I called CS and they say call them back after a year of using it.. before that they say 6 months.

Do you need to resubmit new documents and did you get extra CL?

Was a Grappa Avenue K today for lunch and planned to use the Amex Platinum to get 50% discount on meals and stated it before we ordered, waiter said ok.

But conviniently enough, when I wanted to pay, the waiter said problem with the amex card, cannot read, I ask to try again, he said cannot, got any other card or not.

So I gave him the visa, oh that went through ok, problem with the amex system he says, so instead of 50% discount, they gave me 15% only, didn't want to make a fuss cause got ppl from work eating there too, but damn, I'm annoyed.

Has this situation happen to you before, terminal can't read amex therefore cannot redeem offer, if retail ok lagi, this one food makan already wooo, got to pay la. Tactic aaa?

May i know your current Gold CC CL? I also want to upgrade to Plat once i reach the limit

Temporary Online payment for maxis bills is not acceptable for AMEX. Just Visa or Master only. 

i mean to upgrade the card from gold card to plat? i believe the documents that u mention is for new application? correct me if i'm wrong..thx..

i received it also..yes..it is for selective customer only..

My Amex has some outstanding amount and I noticed there's an automatic payment done from my savings account, but credited back again.  What's happening?
