After i grad from Uni i only work in Malaysia for a year(i do have EPF and Income Tax before) and decide to get out from Malaysia and went to oversea for a job.

I had a maybank saving account which i wired my salary to it . I do not hold any credit card before and i wish to apply one, so i went to a maybank branch at my hometown. The Sales executive there see me no up i think because i only wear T-shirts,short pants and a pair of flip-flop....i told him i want to apply Platinum Card then he look at me and ask how old am i ...i told him 24. Then he ask for my bank book and update it then he take a peek at the figure and told me the card for people berbillion-billion and datuk-datuk to apply and refuse to even give me the form. Kimak him....then i just left

Now i see on this tered the annual income only require RM60k and my basic is around RM75k. I had a saving of 6 figures in my maybank saving account. I only got electronic generated payslip wihout EPF and Income Tax. I do not have any sorts of loans with any banks. Is it sufficient to apply for the card actually?

One of my banker friend told me to buy insurance to act as EPF i'm not sure if he is trying to hard-sell me on their bank insurance.

Hmm....how about the tax cut slip issue at the country i work. I din pay Malaysia tax but oversea tax. But EPF i don't have that's the bad thing
