Quite fast, once they update the tracking no, you can expect by next day
Ordered mine during CNY, and got few days after that.

Openelec Kodi of course, plays my media really well
Even streams mkv files around 20-30gb from my NAS with no problem
But for reason, if I tried streaming similar files (+20gb) from my pc, it lags a bit, guess got some problem with onboard LAN.

Wao, seems nice NAS =)...
Planning to learn more from this unit first, then when ok buy a few make a super arm computer =)  icon_idea.gif

Some of the NAS from Synology or WD models can cost quite expensive
Thanks to rpi, you can just attach your external drives to your rpi, and share it in your home network
and there you go, a cheap DIY NAS

I've tried Logitech before(idk what model is it) and it works out of the box.

UPDATE: I've just tried my unbranded webcam that I bought from taobao and it works too  laugh.gif

Mind sharing how you configure it?
Motion sensor and everything else works fine?

Can we actually get 5.1 surround sound output using usb dac with raspberry?
i tried using usb dac and connect optical cable to home theater, can hear sound from subwoofer and two speakers (instead of 4)
Easiest way would be to just connect to hdmi, but my mcs 838 I think got problem with picture brightness, especially during dark scenes can't see anything. Even with pictures settings all maxed up. Which is I'm using optical cable instead of hdmi.

I m currently running PiVPN off Rasbian Stretch on my outdated Rpi 2B+. Very easy to install and very stable.
A newer version of Rasbian codenamed Buster will be out soon specially catering to the Rpi4 to support the OpenGL graphics.
Cytron has just lowered the Rpi4 price to RM289 from RM300 announced yesterday.

Expected in July/August for the 4gb version?
Curious to see how fast file transfer speed gets with true gigabit ports

2GB should be sufficient but 4GB would be better.
Running on OpenMediaVault?

I plan to, I haven't use OMV in years actually when I couldn't get decent transfer speed on RPI. Or are there better alternatives?
Also, what hdd format do you use for nas storage?

You pre-ordered yours yet? I see element14 not listed on raspberry pi site for malaysia

I cancelled my order from TaoBao last minute when Cytron opened their pre-orders.
Cytron still not sending out their sets.

Raspberry pi warranty is by region? Can you still claim warranty if buy from outside Malaysia?
Not that I have any issues with warranty, even my rpi2 is still going strong

I'm really aiming for the rpi4 as has now it has true gigabit port.

I ve let it run bittorrenting for 24/7 once only so far. Got a bit warmer but still ok cos I have the alloy heat sink case with 2 fans on.
Stuttering 4K youtube? sometimes only probably when the files are big. Can't compare to a dedicated pc though for the size, processor and price.
I like the portability of it bringing it to travel like I did recently to Redang.
OMV is not ready for RPi4 yet, so is Ubuntu Mate.
*
Any alternatives for OMV until it's ready?
I'm probably just gonna use it mostly with jdownloader, running Kodi, and some Usenet.

Hi guys, since google cloud print is dead.
What’s the alternative now?
Is there way to configure with cups to print over internet?
Anything that works by simply send email and gets printed out similar to HP eprint?
