massages are good, especially for the legs as more stress will be placed on your legs later on

HI everyone,

I got terrible backache and shoulder pain when I was pregnant back in 2010. Then I was introduced to Dorn Therapy by my hypnnobirthing practioner. Its more than just a massage. "Dorn Therapy is a gentle form of manual therapy that guides and restores the body to its natural alignment in the joints, neck and spine. " (quoted from : http://www.thevioletflame.com.my/services/dorn-therapy.html)

It took just 2 visits in my 7 month to resolve my aches, and happy to report the aches were permanently reduced to a manageable level. How I wish he was there when I delivered my boy... the labour "broke" my back into a million pieces!!!

But for those still preggie, you can look for him. Terry practices at the center in Bangsar and also out of his home in Subang Jaya and he is really persistent and will get your kinks sorted out before he send you off in your merry way!

Good Luck!!

It seems like a broken link?

Massage is good to soothe aches during pregnancy but the masseur needs to be experienced with pregnant ladies to be safe!

Hello..

Prenatal massage is to be considered for mummy to take after 20 weeks of pregnancy (5 months). It helps with:-
1) Reduce backache
2) Rilexing Muscles and reduce stress
3) Reduce sakit kaki and bahu.
4) Around week 36 - above, milk is in produce. mummy can request during pre-natal massage for stimulate breast milk. This will help a lot during the first baby feeding.
5) Prenatal massage during week 37 - 38 weeks of pregnancy will help mummy to get ready for delivery and help the delivery to be done smoothly.

Hope this info helps. Sharing our thought as we are in the field <3
