Get an air compressor/cyber clean and key puller, I'd recommend the cyber clean. Take all the keycaps out and just clean them. ^^

By using a PS/2 connector, you will get a NKRO , which stands for No-KeyRollOver, means that you don't have the be limited to the number of key presses. In short, no limit. Can press as many keys as you want.

By right, your 6GV2 comes with a PS/2 dock, purple in colour. Use it. Don't forget to set you BIOS while you are at it. Some BIOS will not detect the  PS/2 slot when start-up.
