QUOTE(MathsGeniusOrNot @ Nov 11 2012, 01:16 AM) hey thanks for the reply! i mean if i had 7.1 why would i change it to stereo? lol, i just finished browsing this thread ( not literally) but i saw some previous post that u guys stated that the frost blue and d3 is COMPLETELY the same EXCEPT the LED colors?? im confused now I have no idea what chip it uses. But base on feature, the only difference is the noise cancelling feature. QUOTE(sw1314 @ Nov 11 2012, 01:27 AM) Hmm thx for the report |

QUOTE(MathsGeniusOrNot @ Nov 11 2012, 04:13 PM) hmm so is it better to get the SIberia v2 frost blue or the D3 ver.? using it for games like DotA,LoL,FPS games and also skyping :-) DotA LoL not necessary require 7.1 surround. but added virtualization is a definite plusanyways guys I heard some of the reviews that the Siberia can be break easily? i've seen some pics of some users that their Siberia v2's are defected? and cant go for RMA? i always get bad luck when RMA... those b@stard$ sure wont let me change new unit even tho my peripherals are defected naturally.. haiz. anwyays back to the point, now im considering to spent on the Siberia v2 ( with the 7.1 surround sound and soundcard and the noise cancelling mic) i mean is it worth it? cuz its no small amount of money.. Rm450+!! FPS is essential since you need to hear where the enemy is coming RMA wise dun worry i can help you here. Of course must be within warranty period la QUOTE(Everdying @ Nov 11 2012, 04:30 PM) my sib v2 is basically 3yrs...only slack part is the earcups cannot be changed...its been peeling for quite awhile now and its pretty yucky looking already. Good to hear 3 years. My neckband died 1+ yeargot pic? wanna see how it become QUOTE(MathsGeniusOrNot @ Nov 11 2012, 04:41 PM) wow! what about the coating of the v2's? does it look new? or it's rusty? Damn! cant change earcups? Not really double, but more got Added on November 11, 2012, 5:42 pmanyways guys i feel a lil bit dissapointed compare the price of sib v2 frost blue in malaysia and amazon/US... it's like we're paying DOUBLE the money!! Retail is 119 IF we follow Euro 119=RM462.62+ shipping and tax is over ady However US 119=RM364.56+ shipping and tax is around that price. Do consider the shipment fee back if got problem. |

QUOTE(MathsGeniusOrNot @ Nov 11 2012, 05:42 PM) ya not really double sorry to exeggerate.. Anyways, how is the quality wise of the frost blue and also the durability and the sound quality? I heard many complains about the coating peeling off very easily, sound quality crap, mic quality crap eventho its noise cancelling?? coating peeling? are you talking about the cushion or the ear cups?if cushion then yes since its leather it is bound to peel. taking good care can prolong the life ear cups no..i have yet to receive any complain bout it. Everdying's v2 is 3 years. So its normal i guess sound quality crap Of course it is never meant to be an audiophile headphone. it is a gaming headset. The main function of it is giving you an edge in game and also a built in mic to chit chat instead of typing. new model depends on how you define 'new' . i unpacked the 1st batch of frost last pc fair |

QUOTE(Eazy @ Nov 22 2012, 10:36 PM) Hey guys, I'm getting a gaming mouse soon, and I'm leaning towards sensei raw or Xai because of the low profile design ( so I can pass it for a cheaper Mouse to my mom and prevent her from nagging =P) Here's to answer all your questionsI have lots of questions after reading lots or reviews and comparisons, fo I'm going to list down my questions and concerns, hopefully someone can help me out. 1- which one is currently cheaper? 2- which one has a better feel, or better for intensive FPS? 3- what does the sensei raw have that the Xai does not ( in simple language, cause I don't really know how to read and interprate the specs ) 4- do the Xai have the same coating as the rubberized sensei raw? If not which feels better? 5- some reviews say xai's buttons are hard to click, while referring to the posts above, does the sensei have similar issues? 6- is it true they have issues with mouse acceleration, if so, it it that bad? 7- some of my friends say steel series mice have lousy build quality, is it true? Because I need my mouse to last at least a few years. 8- are they good for laptop gaming? Or good without a mousepad? 9- according to the previous post, how do I avoid the first batch defect if I decide to go with the RAW? 10- Last but not least, which one do you recommend for me to buy? 11-Extra question, I'm also planning to get a Qck mousepad, is worth it, or should I get another one? Hope you guys can help me out. =D Thanks in advance. 1.Xai is cheaper but it is no longer in production. You may find some leftover stocks in the shelves but you would have a long time claiming warranty 2.Both are the same if you take rubberize. Glossy last longer but is quite slippery 3.raw has higher dpi(sensitivity) 5600 compared to 5000..nothing much different otherwise 4.both feels same. 5.nope its perfectly fine. 6.no mouse acceleration.. 7.lousy? what mouse they using? perhaps they are unlucky to get a manufacture defect. 8. yes the size is quite portable..medium sized..best with mousepad 9.first batch defect means its the first wave that enter malaysia...i dont think so have such defect now. Best is to test it after paying for it. 10.sensei raw..since xai stop production 11. yes..if you prefer hard pad that would be 4HD which priced around 99 |
