Is SS kinzu good?
was planning to get a g400 logitech but no stock..the seller recommend kinzu..last time when i wanted to buy my old g400,i did some survey and found out kinzu got some problem...but i forgot about it edi..

Now getting a 2nd mouse..
*
I'm assuming your budget around RM100
Kinzu has issues like acceleration and mouse correction. Hardcore gamers might not want this. Casual gamers usualy don't realise its existance
I recommend you try the mouse 1st, have a feel od it see if it suits you. If you likely get the kinzu, try getting the replacement feet also

QUOTE(eugene88 @ Aug 9 2012, 12:41 AM)
No virtual 7.1 surround sound on the USB Soundcard
*
If I recalled correctly
That 7.1 surround automatically engage itself now instead to be a manually trigger like the last siberia usb.

Wait, I dont get it..
can further explain to me?
*
it means the headset itself is virtual 7.1 activated
without the need to activate it yourself

hmm..actually this 2nd mouse would be for my new notebook that im going to buy...but the seller say no stock yet and no information as to when the new stock will arrive...
I'm not sure whether if its kinzu v2...the information she gave me is as such:
SteelSeries Kinzu Mouse Retail BLACK (400 - 3,200 CPI)
SteelSeries Kinzu Mouse Retail WHITE (400 - 3,200 CPI)
*
Black and white are RM79 which is the 1st generation kinzu
Kinzu v2 have much more colour to choose from. Priced at RM119

Isn't the Sensei RAW somewhat like the Xai? They re-brand the Xai as Sensei (with it's housing) and call it a new mouse? biggrin.gif
*
They arent the same at all
The only similarities between those 2 is they are using A9500 sensors

Hey all, looking to replace my phillips headphones, any recommendation for steelseries headphones? Which one is good? Budget isn't a concern.

Deciding between V2 and 7H now!
*
v2 for allrounder
7H for clarity and gaming

You mean no service center in Malaysia or no service center in Penang?
*
no service center in penang or even malaysia
the only place to deal with RMA issue is with the dealer or the distributor itself

is there any of you using the hard surface mousepad. any review?
*
HD pads
good for steelseries mouse
not all mouse from other company can use it

QUOTE(Vigilant @ Aug 14 2012, 09:38 PM)
What percentage to set for Sensei's Exactlift so that the cursor wouldn't move whenever I lift off the mouse? It seems at default 40% the cursor would move up when lift the mouse slowly.
*
try experimenting
my 1.5mm lift distance from DA also cause this
but it never bother me

I bought the V2 earlier, didn't want something too expensive at the moment since I've spent quite a bit this month already.

Will look into something a little better once I have the funds for it though smile.gif

Reviews are a little hard to believe, some say it's bad, some say it's good. Had to listen to it for myself and then decided!
*
Depends who is the reviewer. Audiophiles have always dislike gaming headphone due to their lack in bass and offensive highs
Siberia is consider good overall in music and gaming. But still bottomline its still a gaming headphone. It focuses more on positioning and clear trebles

Yeah, big fan of treble and I don't mind low bass. All in all, I didn't want the lights in the Frost Blue, and the Black/Gold appealed to me. I'm finding it to be a decent enough headset and am so far satisfied smile.gif
*
Wait till it is fully burned in
You'll love it more

All Steelseries products are over priced in Malaysia. The distributor is making good money smile.gif If you go Thailand, you will be shocked to see how much cheaper it is.
*
not sure for thailand
i visit singapore often and the price is higher than malaysia tho

QUOTE(freakenstein @ Aug 26 2012, 11:24 AM)
Lol , SteelSeries YouTube page got hacked like a few weeks ago. Nobody knew?
*
Less people watch steelseries channel i guess
even i also don care that much

QUOTE(jasmineivan @ Aug 27 2012, 04:20 AM)
I also wondering about that. Although I knew certain differences on so many versions of Sensei, any 1 can list the pros and cons clearly?
*
Sensei-Same sensor as the sensei raw, more cpi as it reaches till 11400
Sensei MLG-Same sensor as the sensei raw/sensei, more cpi as it increases from 5700(the normal sensei) to 8200
Sensei RAW-Same sensor as the sensei, less cpi due to no arm chip, stays at 5700 max no lcd screen below the mouse. Able to store 1 profile on the go.
Do correct me if i were wrong nod.gif
There isnt much other pros and cons basically MLG is an upgraded sensei with a higher DPI
Sensei RAW can only store up to 1 profile unlike sensei which can store up to 5 profile
