QUOTE(Ash @ Mar 6 2013, 08:04 PM)
Would be great if you could provide some credible sources to back up your statement when it comes to defining a life span of a particular product because if done wrongly, this could mislead the other potential buyers to miss out one of the best gaming headsets around.

I'm pretty sure most Siberia V2 last longer than a year. In fact, I've been using mine since it was introduced in 2009 and this thing is still serving me well.

Hah! Taikor Ash is here. Long time no see rclxm9.gif

i owned 3 Siberia V2 and all 3 of them din't last more than 1 year. In fact, my friend also said the same thing, maybe the build quality has deteriorate.
http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessag...topic_id=225835
there are users on the above link forum is facing the same problem too.
*
I don't agree.

My Siberia V2 is almost 4 years old (if it can last until June this year), still working like a charm. Although there are some wear and tear (earcups) but built quality and sound wise, still perfect. It's how you care for your headset. If it is under proper care, I don't see why Siberia cannot last for more than 2 years (at least).

I rest my case.

How about the earphone speakers? mine after a period of time it tends to become a little distorted.
*
It depends how 'loud' you play your music. If played at moderate level, should be no harm. Also maintenance plays a role as well

from your pic, the steelseries apex raw its srp 239... does this mean heavyarm selling too expensive at 249?
*
SRP = Suggested retail price.

Retailers need to pay for rental+expenditures etc etc also. You can always ask him for discount anyway laugh.gif

for your sensei raw i think you can try ask PBBseller. he sell quiet cheap. trustable seller as well.. i brought my sensei and kb from him before.
*
If im not mistaken, PBB takes his stocks directly from overseas, so warranty claims can only be done by him.

I think my 3 years old V2 is coming of age, the cables are wonky and losing audio from the sides if not adjusted properly.

So my choices are: Flux or Frost Blue. Hmm

I tried before, sound quality confirm better than all siberia series happy.gif

mid of april, lowyat all reseller also got stock !!
*
Nice, but the only problem is the lack of extension cord for the normal edition. Extension cord will be available on the luxury edition but hell it's gonna cost a bomb.

So what are the estimated figure SS Malaysia will be selling for? >RM350?

ahaha perhaps perhaps. but always hit the side macros buttons thinking its tab or escape when playing games. T_T

reaction feel damn slow now even in games like skyrim and mass effect 3.

Reminds me of myself when I switched from a cheapo membrane to a Logitech G510. Kept hitting the wrong keys..FPS especially. Then switched to mech keyboards, no issues as most of the layouts are pretty standard. 6Gv2 is a good start tongue.gif

apparently, when i try the cable. its seem like the problem at the headset jack.
