my company's IT guy told me the router serves as a "Firewalled PC" to internet so if any virus or spyware attacks then our real "PC" won't kena directly, it's like another layer of protection between us and internet, it also enables internet sharing effortlessly as it is preconfigured.

it's true that i ended annoying spyware problem after changing to aztech 3100R 4-port router, before that i always get strange messenger popups and weird startup programs in my pc.
