Haha true true..that's why i've never discriminate brands too..

Although HW elite quality not as good as others, but i still stick to it as i'm more of a ferrari fan.. close to 60% of my cars all HWelite..

the scuderia by HW elite is actually very well done given with the price tag that time. It's fetching crazy prices now on eBay.. *Shudders!*

But when it comes to the super elite, totally not worth the $$..

true that BBR makes better quality, but when u compare like to like, it shld be placed along with the super elite version, not the elite..

And that said, certainly the BBR wins Hands down! But i thot the BBR F430 was a coupe, albeit in Scuderia red?

Wooow 3-4 yrs ago, at rm350 its still okay..

back then, if i'm not wrong when the first series of the HW elite was released in Singapore they were marked at a retail price of SGD89.90 (around rm210++).. Amongst those were the F430 spider and the famous 288 GTO..

One fine example of the 288 GTO was sold for USD280++ 2-3 mths ago... 0.0

disagree by buying one by one...by the time u slowly buy...all limited edition will be sold out then u had to buy in premium price ler...so macam mana mau perlahan?

I agree with the second statement!!
*
Yahh!! Esp those by MR or BBR one.. sooo limited, makes u wonder sometime u shld use that money to eat or buy the model.. icon_rolleyes.gif

blu3hamm3r: That Roadster I got it last year. That one is old photo. hehe. When you getting one? Lambo collection will not be complete without the Roadster!!

kennt: I decided to repaint the yellow 458 long time ago, before it became rare. So that's why I really regret my decision as the yellow was really, really nice.

jay: It's handmade mah, so it's never going to be perfect. It's like a Lambo or Koenigsegg can never be as realiable as a Toyota Vios eventho it cost so, so much more. Lol. Some of the resins models I have are not perfect i.e tires don't fit the rims perfectly, glue stain etc.
*
Waaa Bro.. cry.gif IMHO the yellow looks even nicer than red on a 458 italia.. hot wheels regular makes them in matt black too.. hmm.gif

By the way, many people always assume that the 458 italia, produced in 15,000pcs, had 5,000pcs for each of the 3 color namely red, yellow and black.

It's not true. If you notice the 458 italia RED color one states 15,000 pcs, BUT the yellow and black one states only 10,000pcs..

so in total, 15K + 10K + 10K = 35k pieces for red, yellow and black.. plus another 5,000 for the pearl white that makes it 40,000pcs for the 458 italia series.. smile.gif

and here is a pic of my fav 458 italia in yellow.. stock silver rims are wayyy too boring, so i got a set of gun metal rims and yellow caliper for it smile.gif

is that set of rims & calipers from white italia?  brows.gif
so what you mean is among all the 4 color white is having the most limit quantity?
*
thanks guys for the comment.. biggrin.gif yes kent, the wheels are from the 458 pearl white one.. Coz the original Alonso 458 rims is silver, HWE made the pearl white one gunmetal rims i believe to increase sales coz everyone like it in that color.

Hmm quite right, the pearl white one is certainly the most limited in quantity version, so i suggest to everyone now still can get, better get.. drool.gif

And yes Gee, Yellow looks the best.. first time i actually like a yellow ferrari more than in red.. rclxms.gif

Gee: yeah not all ferrari looks nice in red too.. IMHO i like classic ferraris in white color, makes them feel pure and maintains the style and elegance in it..

kent: diff ppl have diff taste and preference bah.. but glad to know we all share same yellow sentiments.. haha.. rclxms.gif Anyway u can remove the chasis from the car body and use a small rubber to slowly erase the wording.. if that wont work, use small amount of nail polish remover that will work.. but rmb small amount will do.. tongue.gif

Wont mess lah bro haha tongue.gif the 458 italia IMHO is one of the easiest ferrari i manage to disassemble.. 6 screws below, once opened the body will be easily taken off from the chasis.. flex.gif
