no la... its ok to pinjam my blog to promote it. thanks for the publicity...

anyway, please note this project has over 2000 units. make sure u pick the good units i.e. minority units or else the competition will kill u. secondly, there is no car park provided. the costs of car park is not yet finalized and likely to be quite high as car park is a big problem in this area even at present due to SJMC. thirdly, the access is poor. just one access that feeds into 2 highly congested roads with no direct link into the federal highway, especially when Sri KL school kids' parents quadruple park on the road side. so, with all these and considering Mayland's "superb quality" (or lack of....), go in with your eyes wide open...

sinleong, did u get any.
heard some booked 10 units.
*
yup. i got a few units..only because i managed to get in early enough. in my opinion, only 5% of this project is good while the rest is going to be really tough. so, if you can't get the best 5% of the units, its really not worth it at all. the preview launch is this friday. quite pointless as by this friday, all the good units are gone.

which is the best 5 percent? lowest price or facing lake

you gotta go in below RM300k or go for minority units. so, that means the Type A lower floors and the type B1 corner (only 18 units)

4 years from SPA date right?
question is when would be the SPA then?
if materialise, then i will update in my thread for 2012 launches

there are some issues to resolve with MPSJ about their planning permission. this may take months. And they probably wont start construction until next year. so, 12 months will be gone and hence left 36 months DIBS.... knowing mayland, they probably need 4-5 years to complete this project.

Added on April 2, 2012, 6:38 pmprobably the reason why they limited the DIBS to 48 months only...

This is a hotel serviced apartments project.  (heard of condotel?)

The project targets the longer-stay occupants of the nearby, popular hotels, namely the Grand Dorsett (formerly Sheraton) and Holiday Villa. However, this project will not be managed by Grand Dorsett hotel whatsoever, except maybe for common facilities like walkway and carparks.

The structural blocks sit on a large facilities and carpark podium. There is no carpark to be purchased (except for the first few 1,2XX bays) because a large majority of hotel SOHO/SOFO/SOVO carparks can be rented out by the Mgmt. Similar to Empire Subang, Atria Sofo, Empire Damansara, etc.

In this case, residents will pay for a pass or monthly for parking, so to say there is no carpark is incorrect.
*
the statement "no car park" is indeed correct. There are 2000 units and only 1200 car parks. Only 500 car parks are open for sale to buyers. There leaves remaining 1500 owners without car park or having to rent 700 remaining car parks. Of the 700 car parks, how many are dorsett willing to let out on long term monthly basis? they still need to maintain some car parks for short term daily parkers from which they earn more. so when the remaining 1500 residents have nowhere to park their cars, they will be forced to leave their cars illegally by the roadside or inconvenience the ss12 houses.

there is no 10% payment cos that was rebated when we sign the SPA. so, it's just the RM5k... treat it as a fixed deposit...
