According to advertisement at TheStar, Sime Darby to build Mediplex, the first of its kind in Malaysia next to Sime Darby Medical Centre Subang Jaya. Subang Jaya will become Sime Darby's first foray into regional healthcare and wellness destination.

Similar concept can be observed in Bangkok and Singapore.

If I'm not mistaken this is one of the LAST parcel of freehold land in this SS12 area... no? (sime darby initially want to do smtg at the lake, but it seems they gotta develop SDMC extension first)

New property prices is expected to go up up up as construction costs and foreign labor (plus shortage now) has gone up 100%.

This is a hotel serviced apartments project. (heard of condotel?)

The project targets the longer-stay occupants of the nearby, popular hotels, namely the Grand Dorsett (formerly Sheraton) and Holiday Villa. However, this project will not be managed by Grand Dorsett hotel whatsoever, except maybe for common facilities like walkway and carparks.

The structural blocks sit on a large facilities and carpark podium. There is no carpark to be purchased (except for the first few 1,2XX bays) because a large majority of hotel SOHO/SOFO/SOVO carparks can be rented out by the Mgmt. Similar to Empire Subang, Atria Sofo, Empire Damansara, etc.

In this case, residents will pay for a pass or monthly for parking, so to say there is no carpark is incorrect.

And guess wat was Sime Darby's plans for Subang Ria park initially? Rumors is that Sime Darby plans to convert their extension site (in between hospital and Dorsett entrance) into Malaysia's first mediplex.

No updates mean good news for those buyers... hahaha
