QUOTE(Chris Chew @ Apr 2 2012, 03:53 AM) Casa Tiara, E-Tiara and Subang Avenue Chief, this is very insightfull I don't see they willing to pay RM 2000-2500 for a studio at Dorsett Place. The expat are not much in Subang, most are locality rich and average income earner. Dorsett has it winning appeal. A high class studios in Subang which others don't offer. There must be some certain group of market. But, is the market is big enough? btw to your best knowledge.........is there any non-carpark studio units which are currently being rented at above RM1700 p/m in Subang? Added on April 3, 2012, 11:31 amhttp://www.propertywtf.com.my/petaling-jaya/dorsett-place-waterfront-t456-40.html Seems like more trouble brewing...... Hotel operator in trouble over apartment plan Published: Fri, 30 Mar 2012 SUBANG JAYA: A hotel which is allegedly offering buyers service apartment units may be violating its Planning Permission (PP) obtained from the Subang Jaya Municipal Council. “I received brochures in my email about the hotel inviting people for a property preview this weekend,” said Subang Jaya (MPSJ) councillor Dr Loi Kheng Min. He made the revelation during the MPSJ full board meeting yesterday and called for the council to take action against the hotel. If found guilty, the hotel could have its PP forfeited and would have to refund any deposits made by guests during the property preview. A PP needs to be acquired from the local council before any developments are carried out. The main difference in the PP requirements of a hotel from a service apartment is the allocation of parking space. Earthworks are being carried out for the alleged service apartments. Council president Datuk Asmawi Kasbi. said MPSJ will be meeting hotel officials next week for clarification. Selangor Times This post has been edited by Pai: Apr 3 2012, 11:31 AM |

QUOTE(twincharger07 @ Apr 20 2012, 08:01 PM) chris bro, Dorsett u oso ngam ah? True...............studio's can yield tremendous returns when :was at the sales office, very well done sales gallery the total unit shock me n i think this is sticker game again.. unit dont come with carpark, kena rent.. Added on April 20, 2012, 8:03 pm Pai kor, you are studio king yup.. IMHO, studio make more sense in KL city .. in this part of KV with this pricing pretty untested.. 1. There's a shortage of decent, low budget accomodations in that area. 2. Huge "alien" population 3. These "aliens" must have significant direct/indirect purchasing power 4. Significantly undervalued VS similar offerings.......... This Dorsett..............fullfills 2 out of 4 of the above conditions............my 2 sens............... |

QUOTE(lynforum @ Apr 22 2012, 02:35 AM) a bit hard to make it.........500++psf in Seri Kembangan................if die2 have to buy either FLEXIS OR Dorsett...........I'd go for Dorsett provided I can get it below 300k............Added on April 22, 2012, 1:03 pm QUOTE(Sikit2JadiBukit @ Apr 22 2012, 12:43 PM) Pai Gor, thank you for advice. In summary will you invest in Dorsett or rather spend the bullet elsewhere? And where? if die-die have to buy studios.............think Damansara Perdana studios & Axis Ampang & Amcorp & hartamas r better bets.............options below 300k..........or top up a bit more for Tropics..........This post has been edited by Pai: Apr 22 2012, 01:03 PM |
