I didn't plan to get refund, since i have signed the S&P, paid RM5k deposit and legal fees, why not wait till the vacant possession.

In the S&P, if developer fails to deliver vacant possession, LAD of 10% of the purchase price will apply. That is equivalent to rental investment. Since I have planned to purchase this for renting, is almost same purpose.

Unless those wanting this RM5k urgently for other usage, and can't afford to wait / lost it. Then, it is advisable to get refund.

I will wait and assume it is investment (It may be risk but Mayland is a big company).

Anyone have close lawyer, can get their advise.

Developer suppose to get license approved by housing ministry before selling, we as purchaser bought this by assuming such has been done. Since S&P signed, to me, developer needs to give vacant possession by the given deadline.

Those hold till end, we will form a group to demand LAD from developer.

Any previous Buyers received Dorsett developer Writ Summons? ask us to re enter another S&P with smaller size unit ..etc and those refuse receive this summons. Don't understand why this developer is doing this with the purchaser.
