4) Your engine compartment will not be so dirty, your fan/alternator belts will not get dirty too. A dirty engine is a stressed one. Owner also will stress looking at dirty engine as compared to clean one. Go tt show ppl also paiseh if dirty.  tongue.gif

The cover serves a few purpose :
1) Looks neat smile.gif
2) Concentrates cold air from front into the radiator (there is also a fan behind sucking in air)
3) Prevent hot air from engine to flow to the front of radiator when car is stationary (hot air goes up, to the hood cover, eventually finds its way into front radiator which its fan will then suck in the air). So if there is a cover, hot air will not reach the front part).
4) Your engine compartment will not be so dirty, your fan/alternator belts will not get dirty too. A dirty engine is a stressed one. Owner also will stress looking at dirty engine as compared to clean one. Go tt show ppl also paiseh if dirty.  tongue.gif

At proton service center now.

Brake disc uneven. Warped - when hard braking at 80-100 kmph that time steering vibrate... New car summore.

Also claim my door leather panel.... Warped to bubble effect on the leather.

Hopefully can claim warranty

let me ask you a magic question.

ever wash your car in RM3 car wash? when your discbrake is very hot, and they splash water on it?

try avoid doing that.

my myvi changed 6 set of disc in 4 years, after i stop washing in rm3 or right after long drive, the disc brake lasted like 2 years and beyond, compared to 6 months.

Nope. Only 2k mileage and only washed my car twice.

Both also in the early mornings before going out.

Doesn't make much difference as the car still has to drive during heavy rain right?

Driving in heavy rain ok....

Driving hard then hit heavy rain also ok (cause water will gradually go in and cool the brakes), driving hard and getting some roadside fella shooting a jet of water on the brakes is no no

Actually hor.... if you guys dont really hear/notice the KRUK sound.. then just leave it lah... most of the time after changing whatever it comes back... and putting in the bump stopper might mess with your alignment... then u end up like turboja goign about 100kmh feels liek he have a vibrator stuck up his butt tongue.gif

My wife drive never noticed anything.

I drive never noticed anything.

But XC, Jack, etc sit my car... ask me listen... say got... when going pass speedbumps slightly faster.

But then again.... I already long time self trained to slowdown to a CRAWL when going thru bumps... so... normal driving... no sound.

Actually was thinking of that.... when rotating my tyres maybe I go change... but the downside is... after changing.. does the problem go away? I thought most here still have the kruk kluk bruk sound?
