Their product page states
QUOTE Low light is no problem. With the Nokia 808 PureView you’ve got a powerful Xenon flash and LED video light on your side, so you're ready to catch spontaneous moments after dark. Is it the LED flash for videos or its just the red LED light? |

They have improved the camera UI significantly judging from the hands on videos. Launching the camera also very very fast!

![]() Look at how big the camera sensor really is (1st , smaller sized 5mp , 2nd normal smart phone's sensor , 3rd 808's 41mp sensor). Damian Dining said that it will be in the market in Q2 |

QUOTE Some publications, like the Verge, are a bit disappointed that the Nokia 808 PureView runs Nokia Belle OS instead of Windows Phone. As we said during the press conference, you can expect to see variations of PureView imaging technology delivered to several Nokia products going forward. Expect to get WP version of pure view |

Time to really feast your eyes. Remember to watch it in 1080p P/s : What i can see is that it really do perform quite good in low-light considering the bad lighting conditions in there wasn't that good. This post has been edited by freakenstein: Feb 28 2012, 12:05 AM |

Don't worry , zooming or not , the quality is still lossless. Unlike digitalzoom.

QUOTE(hengguowei @ Feb 28 2012, 12:29 PM) Maybe the GPU is powerful and handles the encoding processes. It still has a companion processor in the camera module too.Added on February 28, 2012, 11:30 amNokia didn't say anything about zero shutter-lag. So it may not be quick for each shot taken. Shot by the 808 QUOTE Just a quick side by side of the 4 most popular nokia phones against the iPhone 4- this was filmed right now at MWC (the video CAF isn't working properly as THIS IS A PROTOYTPE) damien specifically told us that he isn't very pleased with the video output yet and that CAF and Image stabalization still have work to be done).
