QUOTE(Eoma @ Mar 2 2012, 05:20 PM) Although everyone is entitled to their opinion and likes / dislikes, the sheer negativity regarding pureview from non Nokia fans is rather shocking. This forum's very own front page article(s) can attest to that. Not really a problem. Pictures are out and the best answer already. I don't think its unusual to get this kind of negativity when someone come up with something really radical and different from everyone else. I think even photography people will question the high MP with this sensor size. Nokia had their answer in their approach and proved it can be done. Of course, the real answer lies in the real world usage result. This is the answer that these people wants. Sometimes people expressed their doubts because it defies what they have learned.

QUOTE(hengguowei @ Mar 3 2012, 07:18 AM) Looks like your list does not include any iOS devices. Symbian will be gone soon unless Nokia change their mind. PureView 808 is probably their final greatest product, so they can make it a legend. And also to test out their PureView Pro tech. It's good that they release PureView but at the end of the day, Symbian will be gone following the current path. Added on March 3, 2012, 7:19 amYeah, hope for that too. Symbian not yet gone la. Still pretty popular with keypad phone. I dont think WP7 can replace it either for low end. Its just not comparable to Android and iOS. There wont be any Android that can go down <RM600 bracket. Using Symbian can conquer them all.

QUOTE(kae7 @ Mar 5 2012, 11:48 PM) True, Can you say the dual core android phone is smoother than Nokia N9 ?? Haha... I like this question because for a lot of people, what they see matters, not the time it takes to finish a task. Still, with N9 Swiping motion, its possible to make up for the time loss while doing processing.

Whatever you say, Boss. No points arguing with diehard Nokia supporters, as they are unique in their own way.

What is this comparison with DSLR chat? How people want to spent their money is their problem. What they want to say also their problem. If you think they are bullshitting, then why bring over those argument over here.
You can think its very funny to spent 10k on DSLR when they dont know much about the functionality and yet they cant LOL when you buy a <2k phone just because you want a camera.

QUOTE(BBXiong @ Mar 16 2012, 05:56 PM) if, i say if, Elop didnt announce "we are killing symbian", you think Lumia can even sell? and if that didnt happen, u think Android and iOS are smiling after Belle update? don think so that is Symbian, the potential is there, just need to brush up the UI, now the UI is brushed up, the platform is super optimized, it actually posts threats to other *ahem* ecosystems had it didnt get killed off I think I LOL quite badly when I loaded Belle on my E6 and N8...... Back to Anna for good...

Nokia still delaying? Oh well, it's not like it's gonna turn the dead whale alive.
Symbian is not dead yet. Looks at all the offering. Good unbeatable value dual sim goodness. It just lack a top end model to vault them back into the elite. Nokia still stand to earn a lot from patent wars. Rambus bro...

Lately there's so much discussion in Symbian forum about how bad is Symbian or Nokia situation is right now rather than focusing on the phone itself.
I don't see them in the reviews :-P
Oh well, how to improve.
