LoL, I'm actually curious why people need to specify drop until what amount only buy?
It can be within very short period it drop, or it can be after a long period. Whatever it is, by the time it drop, 1,499, will the person expect RM1.4K buy it? There will reach a point where the price may stay longer, so if it's stays at RM1,499 for long time, so wait? After wait longer, then drop RM1,450 and stay there again. Wait?
Finally drop RM1.4K, will the person buy? I wonder, by that time when wanna buy, see market, wah, so many more high end phones with 16MP or higher, and crazy ads and selling for say maybe RM1.8K? Extra RM400, then say 808 RM1.4K not worth, wait till drop to RM1.2K?

In short, I'm not sure and curious why people tend to specify drop until what amount ONLY will buy. No, there's nothing wrong with it, but just feel very weird with the statement because it's unpredictable of how long it will take and as I mentioned, it may drop till a point where the price maybe more stable and also that time, more choices available or some new phone announced coming soon. It's just so many possibilities, so I don't get the point, really.

Not to offend anyone, but it's a curiosity and I still cannot get the point.

Price sure will drop, especially drop from the launching price. Usually the launching time, the price is high, then it will drop until certain amount and the price will be more stable. Then again, there is RRP and Street Price. If you want to buy from Nokia Store, you'll be paying for the RRP and usually the price don't drop so fast or as fast.

Then there's also second hand, some rich people may buy it because they heard it's so good, but later use time, feel not much difference, or they don't like Symbian or the look, actually they want to look cool, more class, sell off and get the latest HOT phone.

basically Symbian is not an issue for the price...
check those old phone with iOS/android...
iPhone 3G works slow wif iOS4...
not every droid able to upgrade to ICS...
so Symbian anot depends on ur usage...

haha the only way we can afford 2 buy any new phones easily in day 1 like our ang moh compatriot is 2 ask the work force commission 2 implement higher start up pay 2 all companies in malaysia...my rate will b 3k n mayb others might want more
