Doesn't seem like software level only thing to me. The hardware has been bumped to a larger sensor size as well. And other things I don't know.

wait for coming review from ranger especially camera function from aspire... but i m not eager to change this phone haha... no money ><

i wonder low light performance compare to n8, and some grip problem on naked n8 compare to 808. XD

OS will be another consideration like.... social stuff...if it is same like window phone, easy access to fb....wa...gooding yo

It may never come until Symbian fully killed, which is still some years away. This phone is one hell of a phone. Just tell anyone and they will be shocked to hear about 41MP.

Just sharing a fun fact, no harm here.

I don't think W7P can support. Even with same camera module (taking N9 and Lumia 800) the operating OS is actually the key here. Meego is godlike smooth but camera is like making cheese from nothing compared to Lumia 808.

We (a secret team only some know of and please don't reveal) tested this phone (Lumia 800) and took ages to get the accepted eye candy look. I just took out my N8 and BOOM! first snap got it right on the spot.

Can wait for the rangers to review this phone but the thing is . . . how will you bring out its potential over words?

Anyway 808 is running on different service pack compared to our Belle update.

Ifag usually won't trust video or any other product.they trust their i 4 imaging capacities can beat n8.lol.will show them until i get the device.snap a photo,zoom in once,zoom in twice,see,still clear and detail

Yeah like the SoyaCincau, bet he will troll this phone again (considering the N8 vs IPH4 incident wic I can't brain). Can't wait to see how noobish Ifag blogs about this beautiful device.

ya if make in window phone... sync time is the problem... maybe they purpose use symbian to let it run faster and can drag and drop all photo in pc?

because yesterday asked sifu andy what's difference of symbian and window phone, he only mention need to install zune software like iTunes and for me it is PITA (pain in da a$$) to extract the photo out from phone

I can only speculate (I may be rite or wrong dont take my words just yet) last time when we waited for Anna update it still feels like the old symbian, everything change when MeeGo came and I have the sense that Belle share some of MeeGo capabilites (speed + respond time!!! + multitask) and Qt (cute) make the reason why 808 is still on symbian. Yes, zune is the pain a$$!!!

BTW: WHY U ALL NO MENTION USB-ON-THE-GO? Y NO USE THE FUNCTION? (just kidding)

i own n73, ns82 and n8..and now..i will definitely get this pureview

with 512 MB RAM, and ARM11 processor (Android flagships, iPhone 4 already using ARMv7 based core)

imagine the time it would take to process, encode, and compress the entire 41MP pic into JPEG file

I wonder would they cap the camera max resolution in the firmware, or just pump it to the hardware limit 41MP
