one question, can i apply all available CC provider and choose what card i want upon approval? in my case from 2 banks because annual less than 36k

got tired applying, all rejected dont know why..maybe i have no credit history before... want to ask..if my father is a citibank plat card holder, how do i apply as a supplementary? can i apply citibank clear card as a supplementary card for me? anyone knows the process? tq
