Wow, those are quite steep waiver requirements.
Most are 12 times per year, but not specified to be once each month. I did come across a card with 60x swipe/year and at least once each month. But the total spend is quite steep, unless you average 3k a month. There are some cards but it is 'either swipe xk amount or y times a year'. |

Do you have your monthly salary bank in to Maybank?
If so, you can try apply for Maybank 2 card. Your income 30k before EPF is sufficient. The credit card offerings from public bank not very attractive. You should try for better ones. |

I never paid a loan and MBB approved of my card.
Open a BSA account with maybank and request for option 2 with free ATM card. Initial deposit is Rm20. Then start depositing ur cheque into this account. After 3-4 months, you can show the bank that your salary is stable. Then try apply with maybank. |

QUOTE(kayubalak @ Apr 19 2012, 12:07 PM) I think i will try ur idea on the maybank application.. thanks bro.. Just go to maybank and open an account. However, i have worked for 4 years plus, and i have always banked in to my cimb acc... and still they rejected me.. feel a bit sour with them.. plus i just called the credit card centre cimb, and they give me latest info that when an application is rejected i can't apply with them in a period of six months... what the h**l man.. why didn't the customer service at the bank tell me this...waste my time! Also, see if your boss can just do salary bank in to MBB instead of issuing you cheque. Maybank seems okay in terms of the CC application. |

Never throw away a bill/invoice until you settle the bill at least.

If not activated, will the RM50 even show up, because not activated won't get statement right?
