yes, but if you are already charged for RM50 GST, might as well keep it for few months to make use of its promo (if any)

I performed Online Bill Payment for Astro via
1. OCBC Online Banking
2. SCB Online Banking
Both were done on the 16-Sep-2012 (few mins apart)

The SCB payment was reflected earlier compared to OCBC.... brows.gif
*
the question is, why you choose to pay astro using SCB and forego 5%?

Because SCB's was 100% rebate > 5% right ?
It's from the SCB Preferred WMC Card Application cashback.

Hello guys..i just wanna ask about the 20 days free intrest period...how they count that..is it from the day item purchases or cc statement due date?
*
counted from statement date. in other words, there will be no interest charged if you pay all outstanding before the statement due date.

hi
recently i apply few cards during a fair
and i receive 2cards from bank A
and i direct call bank B to ask for my application status which i have waited for 2weeks without any news
and i sms de officer to check for me, he din reply me n no follow up
so i call customer service to check for me , n he told me my application still in process ..so i ask for cancel
n nobody giv me a call after my call, so i tot it was cancelled
after few days i receive de call from de same guy saying that actually rite after i call them to cancel , they already approve it and goin to send to my office
n i scold them for not informing me
so i write a letter to complain..n the say tru my converstion wit him,
i agreed to have the cards ...cz they force to take it as he say already send to my office as i call to cancel in my 1st call
*
Two different stories there. If you still recall the date and time of the first conversation, you may request the CS to refer to the phone recording as evidence to check what is the actual conversation. In future, always follow up.

I'd like to pay my annual Fitness First using CC upfront.

Any suggestion on the CC?

Check if it accepts AMEX. Maybank 2 cards.

Else, Mach by HL provides the following benefit in one of the package.

- 2% Cashback on Health & Fitness: Celebrity Fitness, Fitness Concept, True Fitness, Fitness First, GNC's, Watson's and Guardian

I for one do not want the Gov to use the escalating CC debt as an excuse to increase the GST.

i had a CIMB card 4 years ago, and i maxed out both cards totalling RM12K, now after 4 years i get a call saying that now i have to pay 22K which is inclusive on interest.

I want to pay this off slowly, they told me if if i pay the first RM300 for the first month they will get rid of all the interest and i can then start slowly paying it back monthly.

Should i believe them? This was the convo on the phone?
*
In any case of doubt, always call the bank listed number for confirmation.

you might be a careful person, but other new users may not be. so a good advice is to remind all new users to sign it.

hi guys,

Noob question here. Let say if I purchase item with cc, priced RM2.5K. Do I need to pay amount RM2.5k next month or I can pay any amount I want until balance reaches 0?

mbb 2 cards(cl 5k). And what benefits using ezypay?

thanks
*
General rule, pay before due date to avoid penalty. Due date will be stated in your monthly statement, usually 20 days after the statement date.

For ezypay, you need to read on what are specific terms.
