for RM2k what would you buy for your bike? in terms of performance upgrading..

Yeay. I bought a propero II. Initially I was aiming for prevail s works but I came to my senses that I'm not a pro racer hence I dialed down and get a propero II (and that after reading many reviews and was convinced that most of the technology and features from prevail had been transferred into propero II, and at half the cost too).

not the best of examples... but this would be how a taller rear wheel gets matched to a lower front wheel...

Wanted an entry level hardtail for my early morning rides in the dark.
Ended with Specialized hardrock 27 speeder. Not bad, more or less comparable to what i had ridden before, a Fuji Nevada. So sticking to specialized for now......

Today went Genting sempah have a look after malakoff duathlon (with bike still in car).. then drive until janda baik.. go down.. then go up again.. usually u all start at hospital?

not too well la, my mental weak lol.. give in after the last run leg.. so many walkings..
Run 16:01, T1 1:59, Bike 30:56, T2 1:08, Run 20:07 - total 1:10:11.

do you have any idea how far is the run?
for the bike i recoreded 16k..

how cheap you wanna go? and which type you looking for, S-Bend, J-Bend, straight?

j-bend's are more comfortable in longer distance and some reports says it performs more aerodynamically in the wind tunnels.. i like s-bends however as i think it's the middle ground between j and staight... and it isn't as hard to pull back as straight ones does..

i think the profile aluminum ones are as cheap as RM200++... T2+ i think is an affordable one...

else, i think the token s-bend clip ons are fairly cheap as well... last i bought it at around RM160 or so... i have a pair of 'em at home... but rarely used...scratched my handlebars up..

i'd say oval and trigon is quite good as well.. but those are kinda bank breakers... and they usually come as integrated units..

Can recommend good Headlight and taillight? not cycling off-road in the night. but for normal tar road in residential area. But sometime certain section of the road is unlit. so need strong light.
