QUOTE(Dyna-Storm @ Mar 5 2012, 12:45 PM) Personally I think wired is STILL the way to go in terms of fidelity. When I listen back between the BT and wired headsets, there's significant differences. Portable BT headphones and speakers tend to distort at higher volume, forcing you to reduce the volume to midrange. Unless you're talking about the Bose Soundlink Wireless. But then again, you can achieve better fidelity with wired anytime with less hit on your budget. Problem is, as you wish for better quality in your audio from the Vita, it doesn't have enough power to drive better headphones with higher impedance. Then have to compensate with portable amp. Your once portable Vita is no longer portable with portable amp dangling between it and your headphone line. I'm returning to my Sony EX Monitor IEM. They're a bit uncomfortable to me, but they provide the best sound without having to pump up the volume to maximum. BT headphones works too, but having fear the loss of power once the BT headphones run outta juice is another worry I don't wanna have to face. |

I moved away from anything Beats once I realize that I can get significantly better audio fidelity with lower price tag or on parity with other audiophile-quality headphones. Hence the Beyerdynamics DT1350. Ditched my Beats Solo HD for that.

When watching movies or playing games, I noticed there's like a 0.1 second delay. That was a few years back btw. |

Split second decision games like this, and what's happening on screen isn't what you hear per se on your BT headphones.Another bad experience I had with BT is the lag. I remember playing Ninja Gaiden on my old Xbox. Rageface the first 15 minutes. I don't even remember how on earth I managed to play all the way until the airship. That's when I gave up haha.

Ninja Gaiden Black on Xbox difficulty is LEGENDARY. I rage after the stage where you meet the what-her-face-with-huge-boobs. They've toned it down slightly on Sigma/Sigma+ but still sadistic.

QUOTE(ben3003 @ Mar 5 2012, 01:40 PM) It's not really that bad but you can tell there's a distinct lag. It depends on oneself whether or not it's acceptable.I consider myself to have sensitive ears (to the point where my wife would complain |

Depending on your games. It'll probably wouldn't matter in the long run, but you will have that thought at the back of your mind.

DT1350 would sound tiny unless you have a portable amp.
