My gf I9100 non-G also have problems when flash custom ROM into it.
I'm not expert but I used to flash a lot of ROMs in my own GalaxyS2.
But these 2 days when I flash either CheckROMv4 or V6 into my gf S2, the phone keeps acting weirdly, sudden hang and freeze, market crash constantly, notification bar freeze etc etc.

I always wipe everything before flash, sometimes twice, I even format /system /data /sdcard /emmc separately.
Is there a problem when directly flash 2.3.6 ROM into 2.3.3 stock ROM?

It sounds like a problem with underclocking to 100mhz. Or did you undervolt 200mhz to a low voltage?

Plug the card in card reader, try transfer a big file to the card and see the transfer speed.

Even staying on XWKF1 has problem, like going to setting screen it freeze and can't touch anything, after around 15 seconds phone restart or Setting closed without message and return to homescreen. Some apps will act like this as well.

So I go to 3e recovery, factory reset wipe cache, go download mode, open Odin and put XWLA4 on PDA and flash it.
Afterwards the phone still act weirdly, so I go to recovery and do a factory reset and wipe cache again.
This time I don't want to do any rooting first and observe.
Problem still occur, playing around in Setting sometimes will still restart/freeze.
If not mistaken problems only start occurring once I've on Wifi, I suspect there is some problem with the modem inside.

You are running stock firmware now right? You can backup with Kies.

You need to be on stock ROM, revert back to stock ROM 1st if you want to use Kies, which I don't recommend.

It is not the same, you need the Kies on your computer, not on your phone.
