Does anyone knows how to do this??

"Copy ntfs-3g in /system/bin (I use Supermanager with System R/W for this)"
*
Funny question ? What are you exactly asking ?? Just copy it over
Or use Root explorer to do it

Actually all the other steps I can follow, but only this step which is this:
copy ntfs-3g in /system/bin (I use Supermanager with System R/W for this).
I don't really understand, is the system/bin a folder?
I can't find system/bin anywhere..
rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif
NTFS script
*
The /system is in the ROOT . The /system/bin folder is always there
Scroll back all the way to the root

QUOTE(Dormiens @ Feb 29 2012, 08:59 PM)
Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but here goes:

A friend of mine dropped his Samsung Galaxy S2 in the toilet bowl and the phone got drenched in more than just water (he had just taken a sh*t).

I think he had taken apart the phone and dried the parts with a hairdryer, before trying to restart the phone again. After one day, he tried again and the phone could turn on and seems to be working normally (can play Angry Birds), can even make call. But there is no sound, cannot hear anything even after the call is connected, and cannot SMS.

So he sent to the Samsung repair centre in Low Yat Plaza and now they tell him that the motherboard has short-circuited due to water damage and need to replace with new one: RM780.

What do you guys think? Is Samsung's repair centre trustworthy?
*
Fair price for motherboard
How did he manage to get rid of the smell - washing off with water will not
Not worth to repair at this cost

The official ICS ROM is not really different from the current Gingerbread, only a few modifications are made..

ICS OFFICIAL ROM LEAKED!
*
Appearance wise not much difference but i believe it will bring better performance
I see it running a leaked ICS on my g note. A great difference in performance n saving in battery life. The whole phone has moved up several levels that it can even beat current sgs II gingerbread and even g nexus

is it possible to have ics stock launcher on our sgs2?
*
You can use apex or nova launcher which looks n feel exactly similar to stock ics launcher. These launchers better with more features

Doubt so. Nexus is on screen keys, doesn't mean other manufacturers will follow suit. It can be tailored to the available buttons
*
It can still be used. In my galaxy note running leaked ICS all the 3 buttons are functional - menu, back, home
Should be similar for sgs II

Actually if you think about it, there is no point to be excited for ICS, as it is incompatible with many apps..
Should give it some time..
*
Who told you that
Infact all my 150 apps run fine on my ics note. Yet to find one incompatible. The word "many" is wrong

Can ADW Launcher EX work with ICS?
*
Yes so do other 3rd party launchers
But if you have to use any 3rd party, nothing beats the smoothness and slickness of NOVA or APEX launchers

is it possible to restore from Titanium Backup after flashed to the ICS?

Is TB supported in ICS? does it need root access to restore from backup?

I remember last time I tried flashing custom ICS ROM, and it did have root access, not sure whether this official ICS will have root form or not
*
YES DEFINITELY you can restore your GB titanium backup to the ICS roms - absolutely NO problems. I have been doing it on my G Note since started using the leaked ICS rom and restoring from my GB backups
You must have root to use Titanium Backup
Official ICS definitely will come without root. I think the question on everyone mind is whether updating an official ICS rom over a rooted GB phone , will the phone be unrooted ? I would think high probability the phone will be unrooted

If you have the chance to choose between NOVA LAUNCHER and APEX LAUNCHER, which one would you select?  hmm.gif

I prefer NOVA over Apex. Both actually quite similar
