nowadays hard to find a non-g set s2 .. im wondering if i get a AP non-g set .. can it root and install custom rom like ori non-g set ?

cause i saw some from at&t or wat .. erm kk i try check it out .. any seller intro ?

but i read tourgh his comments replies, he always shoots ppl down for not reading his post or going thorught the undreds of pages in there. i read his guide and still cant make sense of anything. im sur eif post there he is going to reply by saying "why doesnt anybody read the post or comments here"...haihs.

I don't really understand, is the system/bin a folder?
I can't find system/bin anywhere..

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but here goes:

A friend of mine dropped his Samsung Galaxy S2 in the toilet bowl and the phone got drenched in more than just water (he had just taken a sh*t).

I think he had taken apart the phone and dried the parts with a hairdryer, before trying to restart the phone again. After one day, he tried again and the phone could turn on and seems to be working normally (can play Angry Birds), can even make call. But there is no sound, cannot hear anything even after the call is connected, and cannot SMS.

So he sent to the Samsung repair centre in Low Yat Plaza and now they tell him that the motherboard has short-circuited due to water damage and need to replace with new one: RM780.

What do you guys think? Is Samsung's repair centre trustworthy?

The official ICS ROM is not really different from the current Gingerbread, only a few modifications are made..

Doubt so. Nexus is on screen keys, doesn't mean other manufacturers will follow suit. It can be tailored to the available buttons

Is TB supported in ICS? does it need root access to restore from backup?

I remember last time I tried flashing custom ICS ROM, and it did have root access, not sure whether this official ICS will have root form or not
