another thing to add:

has anyone purchase any app from Google Play using CC? I tried from yesterday wanted to buy Sprinkle, it just keep showing payment declined, please update your credit card

If this is your first time using the CC card to make online purchase, you need to activate your CC for online purchases first. Contact your bank to do this first. Newer issued cards are already often activated but not for those older cards

Err, not exactly, I mean can save some time, means can the GPS be set in the house, so then when wanna drive off to destination don't need to waste time waiting for it to get the location, of course if use 3G then it's fast, but I wanna save money, i not rich, so is it possible..

Thanks..

The 3g data connection initially will just cost you few sen. I am sure you can afford it since you can afford to buy so many other phones

Face unlock is more of a gimmick, to show off to ur frens, not particularly useful to me

Fully agree. Is a gimmick only. Nice to show off not practical to use. Tested on my ex nexus n present note on ics rom

To further add in this argument of ICS vs GB I think I can give you a better assessment having used the G Nexus and now ICS leak rom on my G Note
The major difference is in UI smoothness and overall a slightly improved performance
The UI changes are just " showy" stuffs only
And face unlock as I said before is only a gimmick - not practical
One positive point is ability to resize widgets and ease of folders creations on homescreen

Hi Benny, since you have the nexus and note with ics, can you help verify something?
This ques was in my head since yesterday.

Its about the zero shutter lag thing.
Its due to software or hard ware?
From what I observe in samsung showroom, the nexus always auto focus in the viewfinder,
Image already focused before shutter is tap. So when snap a pic, time is needed only to save it.
For s2 and most phones, when press shuttle, it focus, then only snap. Hence the 'lag' for focusing.

On note ics, the camera exactly same as before? Or it constantly auto focus like the nexus?

Just want to satisfy my curiosity. Thanks:-)

I would think the shutter lag is software related. I noticed using the ICS leak rom on my Note, the shutter lag has improved tremendously and is very close to G nexus now

If i'm rite, one acc suppose to be for one tab or phone..

Any SYGIC users here?  hmm.gif
*
I use sygic ; infact I have 3 licences
You can only used one licence on one phone as the activation code is tied to phone IMEI. However if you wish you can easily transfer the purchased licence to another phone by emailing Sygic on their support page giving them the phone new imei. Transfer is done within hours

why then when I charge my s2 using galaxy tab charger it chargers way faster then the original charger  hmm.gif
*
Same for me I always use my 2.1A ipad usb charger
And charging time is close to half that using original charger
Noted similar scenario for my g note too .

It could be the something to do with the actual amp's being delivered by the charger. The original s2 charger is rated 0.7A, which i think is over rated. So what the bigger charger is doing is delivering enough of amp's to the battery and its getting fueled up faster.
Not really bad, however it will for sure shorten the battery life. Slow charging is the best way to preserve the battery life. Who cares, no one will use the same phone for more then 2 years now days.
*
I never bother about battery life lasting or not as I rarely keep my phones more than a year. Also I always have 2 extra units of battery with me in all my phones
