Yar, it fail some of the simplest combination such as ZXC and 3 arrow keys...
BTW, heard that BWU Stealth is true 6KRO, not too sure.

I'm about to get my first mechanical keyboard, and my preferred switch type is the mx blue..

The thing is i've got plenty of offers for the razer bwu and the cm storm quickfire rapid..kinda stuck on choosing one..the blackwidow ultimate is a used unit and the cm storm is brand new,so both around the same price.. anyone can help??
*
It is a no brainer. Go for CM Storm Quickfire, far more "gaming" than BWU does(shorter size for nearer mouse, true NKRO and 6KRO, and so on).

The cheapest price for CM Storm I heard around here is RM22x. I doubt BWU can reach something near it... rolleyes.gif

Now I understand what you mean when you say TROLL height keycaps last time.

They aren't original cherry height right?

They are gonna abandon all the old production line for original cherry height keycaps?
*
Probably won't. So far Cherry G80-3800 are Asia only item and made in China(previously all Cherry board made in Czech or Germany).
Some people suggested that Cherry G80-3800 is just to fill the role in low end segment, while 3000 served for mid end and 11900/1865 as high end. It is because 3000 are seriously overpriced in Asia market... whistling.gif

SSK(space saving keyboard) term is only used by IBM Model M.

For normal keyboards, we called it tenkeyless or 87keys.

guys can i know how come red switch is more expensive compare to the rest?i m dilemma in choosing either blue, red or purple color LED sad.gif
*
3 possible explanations:
1st: Red switch is a relatively newer switch(less than 3 years since it enter the market) and thus it is consider a rare stuff. Though, it's availability really do increased lots nowadays.
2nd: Less people go for Red switch, which mean less market for it and the switch price will be more expensive. Just like brown switch back in the past.
3rd: Supply vs demand. Lots red switch board from different brands popping out in the market nowadays, thus the demand may be higher than what Cherry can supply, thus more pricy.

He probably mean "Got stock in Taobao?", cause SSK is selling like hot cakes in TB, thus often no stock. sweat.gif
You know, it is very profitable to sell SSK in Ebay US 100USD each(which is roughly RM150 than what it cost in taobao).

So the seller really do have stock of it? The shop is among the cheapest SSK seller(other normally around 300RMB).
Actually, I had being eyeing on the store for a long long time already. Feel want to grab the Belkin PS2 to USB adapter from it, but to justify the shipping, better grab other things such as switch boards and so on together.

i wonder why they dont directly buy from taobao. i mean there are agents everywhere. or is the shipping cost murder? anyways. any advice on ibm model m for restorations etc..
*
Taobao agents for US isn't very cheap. I knew a case that someone ended up paying over 160USD for something cost 500RMB in taobao. Of course the shipping fee is also a killer factor here.

Details/mods for IBM can be easily found on GH.

the vortex group that is causing hype in GH like ClickClack, when are they gonna release their stuffs??? lol... saw their teaser for the aluminium casing and the aluminium KBT squirrel..... was wondering are they china-based like imsto.....
*
Some unofficial source suggested that Vortex is someone related to Costar(manufacturer of KBT and their stuffs include those aluminium things).
They even go as far asking the boss of KBT - 花大 if Vortex is related to KBT and 花大 say he don't know.

The 1st assumption is there because Vortex is able to land his hands on those in testing products even earlier than KBT people does. sweat.gif
