does our note has the function of 'Say Caller's Name' when the phone ringing? E72 has....

is there anywhere to make to phone vibrate instead of notification ringtone when recieved sms during voice call...

Messaging : settings - choose ringtone - select silent and under Vibrate - tick it

dat one i cannot find..only select ringtone..if tick silent, then it will goes silent..

really disturbing me, everytime received call, n got incoming sms, there will be notification ringtone rather than vibration like my previous nexus s..i juz want to make it vibrate only when received call..

Agreed, the new ics rom seem like unable to make ringtone and vibration functions concurrently

currently i'm on gb, 2.3.6 LA1 stock rom...happen to ics leaked rom also..?

Hi guys, i plan to buy a micro sd for my new Note (loving it so far)
But just wanna ask what brand is good and does the micro sd class make a difference?

its really hard to say... if let say... Sammy replace Gnote with Gnote + or Gnote 2... then urs below 1k... caz its another 10 months + most new gen phone come with quad core...

any1 try to install SetCPU on Rocket ICS 1.5 and face SOD with vibration and screen off....until need to pull battery? Well..my setting is Screen Off >> max 500, min 200....as soon as my screen off...phone not responsive ( dark screen) + vibrate non stop....

Huh??? i remember in gingerbread can, now ics can't, maybe still beta version

benny, can share what are the new features can we get with the leaked ICS such as zero lag shutter or face unlock?

Shutter lag is very much reduced, now as fast as Galaxy nexus
Face Unlock works but I never used it ; just a gimmick
UI is very very much smoother. Also throw in any 3rd party launcher it does not lag at all - I have tested ADW EX, Launcher Pro and Go launcher. But now I used the ICS based launcher Nova - seamlessly smooth
Operating temperatures is 3-5 degree lower for most tasks ; so better battery life
CPU speed also restricted to only 1.2 Ghz - I see no difference to me . Maybe gamers will be affected ?
ICS browser way much better and faster than stock browser - I especially like the ability to change font sizes

Overall phone more responsive

However have still some small bugs :
- lockscreen wallpaper cannot be changed
- as all my contacts no with +country code - contacts name not displayed when call come in ; only phone number shown
- sometimes when I reply post in browser , after reply it freeze a brief 1 sec

Only negative : now connected to my iMAC , can detect only but cannot view internal SD and ext SDcard. So i use wifi file explorer to transfer stuffs between MAC and phone thro WiFi. No such issues on my wife Windows 7 notebook
