Need some suggestions...



If you look thoroughly, you will see black water stains/marks in the photo above. Any idea how to get rid these stubborn/tough stains from my bonnet?

Fellow LB owners, does your car produce faint knocking sound/noise (in engine compartment) when you accelerate between 1st and 2nd gear? The sound resembles somewhat like you are hitting a empty hollow plastic bottle with a stick. This particular sound is starting to annoy me a lot.

That is what I have been experiencing for quite some time. It's really annoying especially when you are caught in a traffic jam. I've reported (and went to service centre) this matter and according to them (one service personal attended to me), it is something to do with the switch. And it seems like it is known problem which they have not found any solution to it.

He showed it to me. It involves two components; one situated at the front end of the engine (near the radiator) and another is attached at the body of the car (directly opposite of the radiator). Both of them are connected with a hose. So, the former is the switch which works 'extremely' hard (during initial acceleration stage) and it causes the latter to have an impact which is translating to the annoying sound... or something like that. I don't know whether the person was bullshitting or not but that's what he said. Furthermore, according to him, he said that the sound does exists when we are driving but the sound of the engine somehow blankets it making us think that it only happens during the beginning.

And do you know what's more surprising? He mentioned that the older Myvi does have the same problem. I was like "wtf?!"

BTW, the service centre I asked is located in USJ1 (behind Summit). So perhaps, you should get an another better explanation from other service centre for verification purpose.

You have to drive for awhile before the sound appears. Give it around 10 mins or more...

You have to drive your car before the sound appears. Take the service man for a spin and let him hear while you're driving.

For me, RM50 for 300km. 85% stuck in traffic while the remaining short highways.

Has anybody managed to fix the annoying 'kluk kluk kluk' sound?

I have yet to try playing MP3 songs from the USB port. Is the quality any better than the Bluetooth?

Ok. I have written to them (via online) about that damn annoying 'kluk kluk kluk' sound. I hope you guys, who are having the same problem, bombard them with your complaints as well.

PS. : The weird thing is that after I pressed the 'Submit' button, it took me back to the main page without any 'Thank you, we have received your enquiry....' note.

For me, the noise appears when I do light acceleration from first gear to second gear.

Managed to get the 'kluk kluk kluk' noise fixed. But now, there's annoying plastic friction noise coming out from the left side of the front door panel around the window panel.

Nope. It's not the same as yours but yours sound more metal-ish, bro...

And, does the warranty void if we change the bulbs?
