QUOTE(F-22 @ May 29 2012, 04:12 PM) sy pakai 2 benda je, front strut bar dengan rear lower bar je. ARB tu mcm perhiasan kt torsion beam tu. sepatutnya ARB kne sambung dengan chassis, ade bushing pegang ARB tu pada chassis dan hujungnya baru sambung dengan kedua2 belah tayar. bru ade kesan bila amik selekoh, tayar sebelah transfer force ke tayar lagi satu melalui ARB. tempat ARB bersambung pd chassis tu bertindak sebagai engsel. baru body x roll In terms of the rear suspension, bodyroll happens when one trailing arm goes up or down more than the other, eg. when the body rolls left, the left trailing arm goes up while the right trailing arm goes down, and vice versa. The rear ARB is used to hold both trailing arms together so that they go up and down TOGETHER, thus reducing / eliminating bodyroll. You can't attached your ARB to your chassis because when both trailing arm goes up or down, it will damage your chassis. That said, becareful because the torsion beam is designed to tolerate the opposite movements of the trailing arms, while the ARB resists movement. In extreme cases, too much force will damage the mounting of the ARB or even break your trailing arms. This post has been edited by dares: May 29 2012, 07:34 PM |

Exhaust pipe? @@ For a 6 year old car, you can start by cleaning your throttle body and decarb your engine.6 years car starting to be old. Modding needed after my father gave it to. Sounds cracking here and there too. Take a look at this: http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1300861 Read the testimonials as well. This post has been edited by dares: May 30 2012, 11:07 PM |

QUOTE(-TJF- @ May 31 2012, 03:06 AM) I dont think Perodua Service Center allows us to bring our own engine oil for the services. 10W-4010W40 -10 means the thickness of the oil -40 means..erm..forgotten..but is something related to the temperature..hehe xD 10W - oil viscosity grade in winter temperature, in Malaysia you don't have to worry about this. 40 - oil viscosity grade in non-winter temperature, this is the one you have to pay attention to. the higher the number, the more viscous the oil. Higher viscosity = better protection but harder to move which leads to sluggish engine and higher FC. Lower viscosity = less protection, but engine can rev more freely and lower FC. Generally, for Myvi cars, you can go as low as 30 and as high as 50, depending on your preference. |
