shauno, you painted your kit ? looks awesome man...pass down some skills la

actually...how many members here just do straight build and how many actually fully paint/air brush their kits ?

i am still saving up for the compressor....
*
I'm a straight builder. OOB to be exact biggrin.gif

QUOTE(kct-86 @ Feb 29 2012, 02:50 PM)
Hmmm guys, need a rather quick opinion since I decided to get back into Gunplaing. Between the Duel AS or Strike IWSP, which is considered better (both MGs)?
*
MG Duel Assault Shroud FTW!!!

Strike IWSP in fact can stand on its feet while being docked to the IWSP unit.. you only need to reinforce its waist joint, and properly adjust the angle of its leg when it's standing.. as seen below *note that the wing didn't touch the wall

really bad......joints gone, most of the parts dun fit anymore coz i tried to strip them of paint using brake fluid....it din end well
*
whoa. shocking.gif

brake fluid can even melt automotive grade plastics and ruin metallic paint. on gunpla? it's as good as putting it in fire doh.gif

Haha most probably u only start gunpla hobby after SEED series? The 1/144 and 1/100 one is quite old; first released around 1995-1996, with reissue around year 2000.

1/100 : http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN48288
1/144 : http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN48142

http://gundamguy.blogspot.com/2012/03/mobi...d-remaster.html

Hmm Duel's shoulder armors seems to have shrink similar to the MG
*
pretty much so. my first kit was the MG Exia, and my gunpla database mostly revolves around 00, SEED and UC0096 sweat.gif

1995-1996 eh. I was in year 3 in that year laugh.gif

Personally I prefer movable fingers over fixed ones
So far all my models with movable fingers are good and not loose

Yeah i want to do the 'fudge you' sign

My only reason for that tongue.gif
*
I'd prefer less interchangeable parts, so movable fingers are a big YES for me nod.gif

couldn't agree less.....I just bought MG Duel at FT....to my surprise, it has fixed hand only, except the ball joint for thumb.  sad.gif

I was expecting it would be the same as MG strike hands  cry.gif

wha- really blink.gif

haiya doh.gif

QUOTE(MyKy44 @ Mar 7 2012, 09:15 AM)
if uols wan full movable fingers, buy PG lor whistling.gif
*
no lah.. I'm against HG/NG-like fixed fist for MGs. current typical MG hands are just nice, only it could be nicer if it's articulated like MG Sinanju whistling.gif

I thinking it Zeta but i doubt it since it will be too flimsy if it it have full transforming  tongue.gif

My only RG is Freedom and after building it, i will say RG line are 1/144 scale ver ka  laugh.gif
*
I doubt there would be any transformable RGs. the transformation joints for MGs are quite fragile, so it's gonna get worse if it gets RG treatment. unless Bandai would go for HG-like solutions (lots of part swapping) sweat.gif
