group is looking for weekly players (monday + random weekday night 8.30pm + weekend evening/night)
looking for below average-average players, not too beginner and not too professional

basic skills required:

Serve
Block
Clear
Lift
Basic Smash
Backhand Clear - Half Court

area: Section 14, PJ or Taman Megah

females are welcomed

Just wondering, you guys got go for training as in classes for badminton?

Was thinking of going for one, I may not be new but neither I'm good so am considering one.

i never went to classes jsut had my teammates help me feed shuttle cocks and practice ...
helps more if they are good of course...

I able to secured Yonex Nanoray 900 from E Lin Collection.
3UG4 lah.. a bit thicker on the grip. the rest are not bad.. smile.gif

Yes rm399 with bg66.

hi guy... may i ask how do you choose badminton string?

from my limited knowledge looking at whats available at the shop... there are those which makes louder sounds, and those which provides more power...

larger sound <> larger power.. it's just an effect.. no use

there are few types, mainly is on the thickness. Usually more thin, more power, but easier to break. like BG66 easier to break, BG65 thick, not so powerful, but also more durable

i think BG66 and 65 easily found on market... perpahs i will try a BG66 and get it strung at 21-22pounds? will it break easily at that tension?

i'm just casual player

i think also depends on your racquet, if Yonex, then maybe 23 to 25 is ok already
if other brand, you have to check the racquet..

If beginner /average level, not to high tension is better, maybe around 24-26 for other brand

If intermediate/advanced, maybe 26-28?
