Sorry for bumping such an old thread but I have a problem here. I have a Defy with Eclair(firmware 2.1). I would like to upgrade to 2.2 so I can flash custom ROM to KitKat. However, I can't seem to find any Froyo update as it has been removed frm Motorola website. So, what can I do now? Please guide me, thanks

QUOTE(sanosizo @ Apr 13 2014, 04:29 PM) Have you take a look at the front page? I did. I'm aware that if I want to flash any custom ROM, I need to upgrade from 2.1 to at least 2.2 and above. Otherwise, I can't access my sd card from recovery mode/bootmenu. Besides, the front page link to any updates from 2.1 is no longer available. Any help please??

Hey guys, I've encountered a severe problem after I wiped data/factory reset (was in a custom ROM version 4.3) and I accidentally rebooted my phone without flashing any ROM yet. So, I'm stuck at motorola loading screen, I can't access my recovery since I wiped my data. All I can do now is, accessing my bootloader, so anyone here might shed some light on how do I solve this?
