Sorry for being such a newb, but I keep reading that after I upgrade to Froyo (from Eclaire) ill lose my ability to return to stock rom. Ill only be able to use custom rom that matches my CG version. Well that is what I understood atleast. Im on Eclair 2.59 and saw in a few guides that the best way to upgrade was to download a nand backup of the Froyo i want to upgrade to as long with its sbf, then i can preserve downgradability. However can't seem to find any nand backup of froyo, the one in XDA was uploaded in multiupload which sadly is dead. :S .... any help? am i understanding this issue wrong?

Hi, i installed cm 7 on my defy. but after flashing "Full SBF for SEA 15 - OFFICIAL RE-RELEASE! 3.4.3-36-1.7" I forgot to save a nandroid backup before installing cm. So now i am wondering can i still go back to stock SBF 3.4.3-36-1.7 ???? or do i need someone to upload a nandroid backup for me ??

I have some scratches on my screen, anyone know a good place to fix it, the repair shop nearby said they don't have housing for defy.

Btw do any of you know good places to send my defy in for repair? My flash LED stopped working after my defy got wet. Its still blinks tho when i take out my baytery and put it bak in. All of the places I went to say they don't have parts for defy.you guys know one near subang/KL lowyat....

Hey guys, i cracked my defy screen. Touch everything works fine. i just wanna replace the outer screen. I went to repair shops in lowyat they said cost of repair for ori screen is 180RM for local is 120RM. That is too expensive considering the phone is kinda old. Any cheaper solution? or is that the normal price?
