soak the phone in slighty warm water (40-50C) to dissolve any salts if you use it in sea water. normal scuba diving trick. never just soak in normal temp water.
*
Next time I go diving gonna ask the dive center to masak air panas and get it ready once we are back. LOL tongue.gif

Went for offshore training few days ago. During the helicopter underwater escape, people start taking videos and snapping pictures with their sgs 2 and iphones. I was doing the same thing, its just that when the chopper submerged, I went closer to the pool, submerged the phone and continue recording. Suddenly you become the center of attraction, people wanting to see the underwater actions. I even gave the phone to the instructor to record from a better angle and it turned out quite ok.

Really fun especially while drinking. Just switch on the flash light and dunk the phone in a big pint glass of beer, everyone starts asking what phone is this!!?

Don't we just love our Defy?

I just ordered the so called gold battery from ebay. it claims having a rating of 2430mAh, if it can outlast the stock battery then it is good enough.
*
Interesting!

Yeah. Link got ka?

i think u got the expired battery lor.
remember battery (LiPo) got expired date just like our food.
suggest better buy battery like sunglobal that have 6m-1y warranty for safety.
*
My Andida is same par as my stock batt. Gold battery pff.. but now have a lot of spare lah. If only can have a dock for battery charging then serve the purpose biggrin.gif

I haven't charge it yet since I bought it (around 12.30pm)
been doing some minimum websurf, fb, fb messenger, twitter, gtalk
now its already approaching 11pm and i have 23% charge left (from 95% the moment I start my defy with new batt)

Later before going to sleep, will be doing the 8 hours charge for the first time.
Then after that I will see whats what...
*
Cool!

Hope it's positive results

My phone is officially a 'tukun tiruan' for Pulau Perhentian during my dive trip few days back. Fell of the boat when a water jet splashed on it while I was spreading out my hands. Sekian terima kasih

cannot collect back?? use 'locate my phone' app and scuba dive for it!!
*
ha ha yeah. Too deep I guess it went. From the looks of it it's more than what the phone can handle. Sedih sedikit. Well, at least my phone is now in a good place among the Nudibranch and clown fishies.

my advise, go to known brand like momax even though the battery capacity is just 1500mah. if momax have the tech to fit in more than 1500mah lithium ion into standard size defy battery, they probably have done so.
*
Ya lah. Cannot rust already these super huge capacity claims. Ha ha.

got myself this thing - http://www.aliexpress.com/item/High-Qualit.../591689628.html

I guess I'm sticking with my defy for another year, until moto produces another defy with better spec.

I miss dunking my phone in water. I am sure gonna buy a Defy again in future like you, gonna wait for one with better specs too.
