Hi all. I got increasing dead pixel on my defy screen last few month.

So the solution is change the LCD not Touchscreen Glass right?

my defy still working great after a year.
i'm on a latest CM7.1.0 by Quarx (not nightlies), lazy to flash nowadays.
battery still kickin great. fully charge until 6 in the morning
at 5 pm battery still about 75%-70% with wifi turn on all the way,
whatsapp, with a few answering call and texting.

now my screen got 3 (dead/faulty) pixel in about 5mm diameters.
coz i droped it in last february. lazy to change it, im afraid it will cost like
another 2nd hand defy. haha

really served me well all this time. might thinking to buy S3 soon and put defy as a second phone .

3g if im going out lepak2 or nonwifi area la. but ill turn it of if not using the data.

it depends on what apps running in your phone too.
i turn off all the notifications except for yahoo mail and gmail only.

since the screen is 3.5inch
hopefully the price is less than rm1000.

i still prefer defy and defy+ design

do you use baseband switcher?
if it compatible with ICS you can try adjust regarding the signal issue with defy baseband switcher

im gonna wait for two or three more release.
currently my defy in freezer. fixing dead pixel

mine quite bad. got one 1cm diameter and two 0.5cm diameter like that.
put in 4 days still got dead pixel left. decide to put in for a week and see the results

Safely on CM10 now
What I can say is CM7 is slightly faster when opening apps.

CM10 sometimes will lag here and there but so far im happy with it!

can use data connection. but i only use defy for sms and call nowadays.
so far no force close or hang. just lag here and there sometimes.
google now is working!!

lazy to go back to cm7. just wait until the stable cm10 released

failed bro. been freeze it nearly 2 weeks.
notin much. but then grow back.
so just stay with the bleeding i think

i got blue and black. when i froze it last time the blue got fixed too.
the black is still there. lazy to fix it already. just let it grow that big.
if i disturb it again it will diminished for sometime then grow bigger
