i am waiting for droid razr maxx...gsm version is coming to europe and middle east by may..dont know about malaysia. but if got defy 2/advance/2.0..better

my friend just ordered defy+ from a seller at lowyat..rm1100..

I ady reflash the sbf back to stock ROM, 2molo my friend will help me flash to ICS, i ll see how he do it

Hello guys,im try to flash my defy+ to CM9-NIGHTLY-120330-Defy+ but now my defy+ stuck on boot loader come with err:A5,70,00,00,23 . Can anyone help me which correct sbf i need to download and reflash using rsdlite.

after start googling around, i manage to recover my phone using rsd lite and flash to new sbf. after that my phone back to normal and i succes to flash to cm9, but i failed to flash to miui or wiui rom. then it will go back to bootloader error.

Ok i have a question.. NAND backup is those backup that make from CWM?
a full backup right?

If yes, here's the story... previously i have used a defy with CM 7.1 and i had this NAND Backup.. After that i sold the phone and now i had another DEFY with stock 2.1.. now is it possible to restore that NAND BAckup? If yes how?

the same backup file with another device also can?

has anyone tried flashing defy+ ? need some help!

my phone decided to screw me up and almost got me late to work for my first day in new job. then it had to act all funny and suck up all the battery. by noon, it was 20%. i ended up flashing MIUI 2.4.6 ROM instead of WIUI latest ROM. older tech, but more reliable

Wiui latest 2.4.20. Anyway, like long88 says, lazy to flash. As long got stable ROM, i'm happy now. No need ics also never mind, but if cm9 can have stable version, I won't mind. Probably using this phone until end year minimum, then see what android goodness next year

My defy+ got bitten by my colleague's dog when I was drunk on the porch when i got back from drinking. screen has a major crack and the back cover has holes BUT the phone survived and is still working like a charm! There are some parts of the screen which is not responsive to touch anymore..gotta rotate it sideways to type some letters.

Can i send it to brightstar? will it cost a bomb? dayumn..

you can find all the resources needed at xda developers forum...
at the moment i'm using cm9 (ics 4.0.4), last updated 22/05/2012...
but i change the launcher from trabuchet to apex launcher...coz the trabuchet is a bit lag with the animation/effect when scrolling...

the battery seems good, normal usage with data plan enable & facebook update, email update, making call & internet browsing, the battery could last for the whole day...
later charge it back before sleep at night lor
and i'm on BL7 kernel...

if u on BL7, you'll need to install the rooted stock rom first...

then u need this stuff:

1. 2ndinit...
2. latest cm9 (i'm using the Quarx version, they said it's better than epsylon version, but i never tried epsylon )...
