damn seeing that place gives me chill....lets not say about the soil, just look at the development in that area and the amount of trees were cut exposing the soil.....

then public transportation is almost nil.....quite a remote area....uphill battle to get to home....

and lots of african there.....and hv i mention monkeys?

and maintenance is poor

Hi i was a resident on Jalan Pertunia which is one of the 2 jalans that made a big hoo haa about 10 years back regarding the soil erosion.

The matter has been left to fizzle and only a few houses that are close to the hillside were given compensation. The rest were left hanging.

Anyway u should go down to Taman Mudun (jalan pertunia and jalan lantana) and have a look at the hillside from another point of view. It looks damn scary with the condo so close to the edge. Even tho its cemented up, reinforced, for a layman like me it still looks unsafe.

I sold my house and moved smile.gif

Worried: Venice Hill Management Corporation Sdn Bhd director Philip Tan (right) pointing at the hill clearing. Blocks 4, 5, 7, and 8 stand at the edge of the hill. With Tan are other residents of Venice Hill and surrounding areas.

Imminent danger: Two Garden Villa units taking shape at the foot of the hill while in the background are four units of the Venice Hill condominiums

These photos are so old. ARe there no new photos? Mah Sing has completely cut down all the trees and exposed the soil for the new hill villas. I dont know if they re completed by now.

Still without the issue on soil, Venice hill IMO is still a very bad choice.
Look at how many auction listing there is.

The price might have went up due to Masterskill college thus rental investment opportunity.

1500sqft+ for RM160-RM200K is really a bargain. thumbup.gif
I heard management was real bad last time but how about recently? Has it improved after new management has taken over? rclxub.gif

It is better for you to place your $$ somewhere else... Taking risk such as this one is a gamble..

Hi, I was previously living at condo tower 1. My parents sold the place and moved to a landed property. I would say if you want to invest at Venice Hill, tower 1,2,7,9 and above is a better choice. The place is nice and quiet. It's quite cooling sometimes at night and in the morning. Yes, some Africans do stay there too. They look intimidating but each minding their own business is ok. I mean not all crimes are committed by foreigners. The worst will be snatch thieve whom are made up by locals. Africans normally live at block 3,4,5 and 6. Of course they are spread out. IMO if you are buying for own stay then it's ok. Buy for investment? Hmmm depends on your luck. Overall nice place to live at.

Added on February 26, 2012, 1:41 amViewed a condo in Tower 8 today. Such a nice condo.

Quiet environment, fresh air, breezy, very nice mountain view.

Fully furnished with air-cons, water heater, built in wardrobe, kitchen cabinet, ceiling fans etc.

Selling for less than RM200,000!!

Heart is with the place, but so many bad news to convince me not to buy sad.gif
