Since Nokia dun give a damn to customer. I also dun give a shit to Nokia too. I wish the all best for Jolla, and make sure Nokia regrets for what they done for the past few years.

Waiting the Sailfish OS to port into my N950. rolleyes.gif

I noticed that when I connect my N9 to third party charger with screen unlocked and say staying on Wazapp top page, some time, it will randomly go into one of the conversation without anybody touching it...

anybody experienced that before? or my N9 is haunted?  sweat.gif

In short, L920 and PV808 have something in common: Good camera sensor. But is that justify to take a good camera phone for daily use or not? That, will depends on individual.

In the mean time i will start counting how many new post on garage sales for 2nd hand L920 for sale icon_idea.gif

i think i manage to update to 1.3..but got one major problem.i m having problem to connect to my proxy wifi at office..any ideas guys?
*
about this proxy setting u have to refer 2 ur office network administrator to rectify the problem

QUOTE(kazumasashi2000 @ Jan 9 2013, 04:53 PM)
thanks ^^ by the way before updating, I need back up it first right? Should I install software too?

anyway, I have question regarding with vibration. Does anyone have problem for not feeling vibration from your N9 after received message/call?
*
Always pratice backup everything before the update for safety precaution

Nokia suite can support N9 as well, it provides more than Nokia link can do.

I not sure how strong is the N9 vibrate, but if its weak vibration on hardware part, there's nothing for the feedback API can do.

have you finished update your PR1.3? The PR1.3 changelog include adding more certificate to support most of the wifi router. If your office wifi router doesn't include in the N9 certificate list. Bro, i had a bad news for you sweat.gif

guys(and gals), i'm using the N9's fb app..not the fmobi, to share/post stuff..and realized..the setting of the post is auto-set to "only me", which means anything i share on FB through my N9 - no one else can see..zzz
anyone can guide me how to change the settings or whatnot to make it viewable to "friends/public"?
*
unless they update the stock FB app which support switching audience (which i think it apparently wont happen at all), or you change the default setting at FB using your computer. wink.gif

Found this on recent Ari Jaaksi tweets:

Nok Nok…
Perhaps the company most likely to be impacted by Microsoft consumer devices strategy is Nokia. I have absolutely no doubt that Microsoft is going to become a manufacturer of a full range of Windows 8 based smartphones. That is going to happen sooner rather than later. When Microsoft launches a ‘Surface Phone’ it is quite simply game over for Nokia.

Consumers already have a hard time choosing betweens phones running Windows Phone 7 and competing offers from Apple and the Android OEMs. If Microsoft comes to market with a range of world-class devices running Windows 8 and sells them through its own retail channel then I don’t see much opportunity for Nokia  - or any other Win8 phone OEM for that matter.

Nokia’s strategic options are shrinking rapidly. It’s my view that when Microsoft enters the phone business with its own devices Nokia will have run out of time as an independent company. The most likely final chapter in its storied history sees Microsoft buying up Nokia’s sizable patent portfolio, its in-house design and engineering expertise and — perhaps — the brand rights. Perhaps Nokia’s CEO Stephen Elop will even rejoin the Microsoft leadership team to run the phone business. Alternatives to this outcome seem to be very few and far between.
----------
Perhaps, perhaps, perhaps... it's all part of the BIG plan after all...
Else, I don't get the logic, in non-business terms, business terms, "popular/reliable/potential OS", etc. there's just no logical reason to choose to go WP only route, moreover it's Nokia, it's not a company that only uses and rely on 1 OS only. What's more? If it's not doing well, it should first gain back it's status by giving what consumer wants, Android is obviously the one that could've revive it, and there's no saying that if they choose Android they cannot never have WP, even others have WP on their lineups. It's just all too fishy... and smelly...

In short, Microsoft takes away our freedom for their own profit$. Just like how they closing down msn which have plenty of customization (custom emotion, pen drawing which removed quietly, email integration and lots more in the plugin tool) to have skype which have little features. You want more? Pay for Skype Premium so they can earn $$$ from you and give "more" which i think still not as much as MSN can offer.

Oh, the pen drawing feature!!! I forgotten about that feature already, didn't know they removed it  sweat.gif
*
yea, they quietly remove it when they "force" you to install new version of msn. now you cant use pen draw something in the conversation right? When i think is kinda hard to explain in words, i use pen and draw. Why they wana remove it?

are you using fmobi?
*
I use fmobi and stock facebook client, both also no problem. you should check your application permission setting to set your default audience, that is vary on user setup.

QUOTE(Andy214 @ Jan 17 2013, 09:16 AM)
Speechless why they remove it.
Used to have lots of fun with it, can even play games.
Why MS going backwards.....
*
Never support MS at the 1st place, everything they do also consider their profit$$. At this point of time, i still not find any chat program can support feature like old MSN do.

Dun come & tell me about other chat client have add in fancy animation as default/purchase items. I am talking about customization not purchasable option.

Oh BTW, thats how i "support" Microsoft
