I'm using A43SJ color, the earlier model, without USB3.0.
My Wifi is Atheros, which driver should I download from the Asus driver website?
Right now, my wifi cannot detect any wireless signal

I bought my A53SV two months ago. Overall satisfied with this notebook for the price I paid. The keyboard with numpad is especially useful.

After spending some time with it, I noticed that it'll lag when running on battery. The mouse scrolls, mouse clicks, switching browser tabs, etc seemed slow response.

I have;-

1. switched to high performance mode
2. switched the preferred GPU to Nvidia 540M in Nvidia control panel

However, the laggy response still happens whenever I'm on battery. There's no problem if I'm plugged in.

Anyone experienced this before? And what's the solution?

Yep. even after reboot. 
Already turn on wireless console.

Whenever I try to Add wireless network; both Manually creeate a network profile and Create an ad hoc network, i got this error message:
[attachmentid=2761922]

I can see the WLAN driver installed in Device Manager 

The laggy i meant happens even during word processing, excel and web browsing. I have 8GB ram, so definitely not memory issue. Could it be the step down of CPU speed running on battery?

Already try Fn+F2.
No, my laptop model don't have such physical wifi switch 

Hey, thanx for your advice. Obviously it's due to the setting of minimum CPU speed running on battery. After adjusting to 90%, solved the problem!

Hi all, need help here T^T

Bought the ASUS N43SL JAY CHOU EDITION last year august.

The speaker having some problem after one month used, already send repair for few rounds.

1. change new speaker.
2. format OS.
3. change the speaker & motherboard

After the 3rd round, I found that the default boot animation is gone,
only come out ASUS logo with jay designed song.

Feel so fade up on this kind of service.

default is untick, after tick and restart it still same, come out ASUS logo

Leave the Oberon games untouched. Uninstalling them seems to just introduce more problems.
