but i never understood how to connect through Steam servers

in fact, the hoster will be the one needing to switch their com open entire time

just need to create our own server whether dedicated or normal one.i done it before just i still dont know how to make static ip...lol.

well, using the server kit is easy enough but ive never tried before making static IP

previously it was another friend of mine who host it constantly, he hosted for 2 month he musta have too much RAM

but there will be a huge problem, since the map will be retained on the hoster only, means no one else will be able to host same map. not unless i share the map file everytime after finish game

yup only host have the map or share with other. the new update will be easy to play multiplayer as i heard and we need to stop hijacking this thread...lol

but i played Terraria when it was 1.05-1.06, so im missing alot of new things

got the best tier armor at that time, but its now useless lol

yeah me too, havent seen the new added stuffs

ive seen and tried before cause i tried persuading friends to join Terraria.. ended up they cheated using host cheats

ended up everyone have god tier armor while im still farming mid tier

If you Google the servers of Terraria globally, I joined one recently to understand more... But the host seems to be cheating as you said.

They can spawn a lot of bosses and zombies while I'm only having a weak copper sword. Hope Starbound is easier to understand.

but im not interested in building mega structure anymore, last time diverted the ocean to hell is enough for me liow
