Pattern = Dubbed "Rainbow Effect" which cause by UV rays that sunlight or any bright source of strong light which reflects through the AV layer on your Static SP causing those rainbow wavy lines.

White Borders = Dubbed "Peel Effect" Due to Galaxy Nexus Contour Design that makes those hard plastic, static flims unable to cling fully like those normal smartphones/phones display which is flat surface. Since it's hard and unable to mend in shape, it will peel off.

OR

Maybe the screen protector itself is out of shape, extend the border making it the dust accumulate underneath the screen protector causing the white borders.

Because I have try all sorts of SP already -.-... (being OCD for scratch) lol

BSE is an alternative good and cheep also cheerful SP if your budget is really tight. The full body kit is same price as you buy a cheap lousy SP at here (The price of matte SP not clear LOL)

Not really, I just hate Matte for some reasons the "Grainy feel" I like the satin finish, I might take off XO due to it's grainy display also. That's is XO skins main weakness. Replace it with BSE which is should be arrive tomorrow.

There is no BEST SP for now. It depends on persons preferences, but I prefer clear for maintain 720p resolution and HD display.

Sometimes, picking a SP is harder than buying the smartphone because people are OCD on displays like I do. But its better than replace an OLED Panel which cost RM 650~RM 1k

Yes, just tell them you are unable to rebuff the skin protector due to burn marks cause by during installation. Most important is, tell them you had follow their instructions when application. They sure send you for free.
