QUOTE(Listiani @ May 11 2012, 11:49 AM) only 02 hours & 40 minutes. The earliest leaving Seoul at 0530hrs. This is super high speed train at 300km/h. can try Gyeongju too...not far from Busan Added on May 11, 2012, 11:51 amThis is my brief programme. I am still looking around for more infos. I wanted to spend more time outside Seoul actually. So my itinerary will depend on how much information I can get. QUOTE As the capital of the Silla Kingdom for almost a thousand years, Gyeongju preserves vast amount of significant and fascinating historical heritages. Along with Bulguksa Temple and Seokguram Grotto, the Gyeongju Historical District has been designated as a World Heritage by UNESCO. Due to the bountiful historical, natural and cultural attractions, this region has long been a major tourist destination in Korea. |

Full insurance coverage, with english gps and even wifi in the car.. Driving in jeju was soo much fun, but can be a bit confusing in the town especially at the junction.. wah cheaper than mine last time..i should have book kumho instead..hahaAdded on May 16, 2012, 11:06 pmI'm now on the ktx just come back from day trip to yeosu expo.. Very nice ride, got wifi in the train.. For those who planned to visit the expo, youcan just do a day trip from seoul. Get yourself a korail pass and you can get the first train out of seoul to yeosu expo at 5.10am and return back using last ktx at 9.50pm.. Journey will take 3hour ride and the station just outside the expo gate.. This post has been edited by anechoic: May 17 2012, 12:27 PM |

imo, the more convenient way, is not go to Jeju on 1st day, rather visit seoul for a few days, then just leave luggage at ur guesthouse when u go Jeju and check in back after you have visit Jeju..
I did that and there is no cost involve. Safe as well |

i dun think need to go COEX or itaewon..COEX just a big shopping mall. Itaewon is just mat salleh shopping street.
war memorial museum?? if they enjoy WWII, korean war, chosun dynasty then should go lor. Namdaemun,Dongdaemun,Insadong,Myeongdong are good shopping streets. There are only a few cheap things in korea.. just search the thread. Everland is theme park..and need to walk around..queue for rides. you can party in hongdae till morning..it's safe..just don't get too drunk and fight someone. Heard the fine is expensive. up to you...jeju town is bigger and more happening than seogwipo.
but seogwipo has more attractions that jeju imo. but the good attractions are on West. travelling from either town will 1hr or so to most of the nice sites. if u driving, should not be much problem. |
